Two huge wins over National Powers for Sallies this week. An OT win over Saint Mary's Annapolis and then a road win over Chaminade in New York.

    Salesianum Schedule

Currently Salesianum is ranked 24th in the USA Lacrosse Magazine National Rankings. And as you say the schedule is a thing of beauty. Three games against top 10 teams plus #21 Saint Mary's , Radnor, Cape, and Mid west top 5 Upper Arlington. Brutal. I hope the Sal's new face off specialist is up...

I did not see Cobb from Tower Hill on either of the All-State teams. Is that transfer significant?

    Predictions

You could be right. Archmere scored 5 against Sallies and 8 against Cape so thy have had their moments offensively against both teams. They just need to find a way to be more consistent and possess for longer periods. Thats tough against both Sals and Cape because their FOGO's are so dominant.

    Predictions

As much as we would like to see more competitive teams in Delaware, no one comes close to the Sals and Cape. That said I would be shocked if the Archmere/Cape game is even competitive.

    Predictions

Was Sallies suffering from all of these injuries when they played Malvern? I watched the Malvern game and Malvern never led. I thought Sallies was the better team.

    Sallies Beats Hill 14-12

Was anyone at the game on Saturday? I watched a recorded replay. Thís was no fluke win. Sallies led most of the way. Added to Cape's win over Episcopal it's another huge win for Delaware lacrosse

    First week in any surprises?

I watched the Sals play Easton, MD. Both FOGO's for the Sals looked great. Looking forward to seeing how they play against the nationally ranked teams on the Sal's schedule.

    Post Game Analysis

Sallies had two other kids that took face offs during the year. #15 Conner Riley took a few face offs in every game I watched except for the final Cape game.

    Post Game Analysis

I think CJ puts Cape in position to win a lot of game over the next two years. I hope he works his tail off during the off season perfecting his skills because he has the potential to be great. Cant wait to see how he does against some out of state FOGO's next year.

    Who do you have tonight?

The USA Lacrosse Magazine/Nike Poll once again has Sallies receiving Top 25 consideration this week. Congratulations to the Sals. I also noticed that in addition to the Sals, the Lax Numbers algorithm has both Cape and Sanford in the top 100.

    Who do you have tonight?

I had never seen Sanford play before but they were good in all aspects of the game. Not sure if this is a one off or if they are built for continued success. Not that squad size means anything but when you look at the Sallies and Cape squads they have large rosters in uniform. The Sanford squad...

    Who do you have tonight?

I did not notice the goalie change for Cape. Did the state sheet also show a change for Sanford? During the game the goalie from Sanford was penalized and came out to serve his time in the box. During the subsequent man up Cape scored and then the original goalie for Sanford re-entered the game.

    Who do you have tonight?

I attended both games last night although by the time I arrived at Abessinio Stadium it was already 4-0 Sals. That game became a blowout in the second period and was 12-1 at half. Cape and Sanford put on a great show. It was certainly the most exciting game I've seen in a long time. Sanford got...
