Hodgson was just 2-5 over playoff teams this year beating DMA mid season and catching Mtown off guard at the end of the season. This is Smyrna’s 14th season making the tourney, but they generally aren’t very successful in the tourney. Their lifetime record is 5-13. Their last playoff win was in 2014. Smyrna wants to redeem themselves after last year early exit of the playoffs after being ranked 2nd seed but losing in the first round 6-0. Smyrna is scoring 6 runs per game and allowing 3 runs per game.
