I recently just got news that a lot of our top tier senior athletes that have graduated from high school this year 2015 have not been able to be registered for NCAA clearing house. Some are not even taking the SAT's in a manner that would get them recruited. I know there some issues with our kids thinking they know everything, or our parents who will listen everyone but the right people to put there kids on the right path to have the possibilities of getting a free education. And there maybe some coaches that may not understand how the process works. And that is fine. My issues is we have talent walking around the city here with no place to go and then they fall into the cracks of drugs, pregnancy, and crime (which obviously the worst case scenario). My question is are we Doing our best to educate the kids, parents, and ourselves to help our lost student from ever having a chance to get into college? your thoughts?
