Delaware South lost Monday to Lehigh Valley, 11-3.
Delaware North plays Delaware County tomorrow at 12:30.

Website shows that Delaware won this tourney in 1986 and 2000. Anyone remember who was on those teams?

Delaware North game postponed until Thursday at 4pm due to field conditions.

Delaware North lost 11-2. Delaware teams combined outscored 22-5 in the Carpenter Cup. Lovely.

Unfortunately, the Delaware teams have become doormats since Delaware South won it in 2000. The North and South teams are each 2-13 since then. The last year a Delaware team won a game was in 2006. From my perspective, it will continue to be this way until someone decides to put some priority on this event. This is a highly scouted tournament and Delaware certainly has had the player talent, especially recently, to make a good showing for our state.
