3-22-14-Newark's Julia Waters struck out eight and gave up one hit. Ashleigh Cavanaugh went 4 for 5 with two doubles and drove in four RBI's. Sam Denofio had three hits and Robyn Hayden, Julia Waters, Roe Woodson, and Amanda Binning each had two hits. Amy Delpercio drove in three RBI's as well for the Yellowjackets as they defeated DAPPS 25-3. For the Lady Eagles of DAPPS Marlee Marucci broke up the no hitter in the fifth inning with a double. Sierra Sipes, Anna Holloman, and Jenn Berner each scored a run for DAPPS.





Shannon Brantley pitched 6 shutout innings with 10 strikeouts, while going 3-4 with 2 triples and a double and 3 runs scored to pace Red Lion Christian to a 11-0 win over the Lady Bulldogs of Brandywine. Cookie Carrier went 4-4 with 2 runs scored and Caitlin Buckalew and Kaylee Hazewski each added 3 hits and 2 runs for the Lions offense. Eryn Bailey, Jacqueline Kozloski, and Meghan Brown each had hits for Brandywine.





Juliette Emory was 3 for 5 with two doubles to pace the Lady Redskins to a 18-5 win over the Lady Senators of Dover.





Kayleigh Morris went 3-4 with a home run and 4 RBI while striking out 7 for her 1st win as Glasgow defeated Christiana by a 15-5 score. A.Brogan went 2 - 2 with a double and RBI. Christiana's H.Henshaw had a double and RBI and J.Groce had an RBI.





Katie Dudek was 3 for 4 for St. Mark's with a double, triple and 2 RBI. Haley Frati had 2 hits, 2 stolen bases and 2 runs scored to pace the Lady Spartans of St. Marks to a 7-2 win over the Lady Vikings of St. Elizabeth. Freshman Meghan Slater picked up her first varsity win pitching a 3-hitter.





Kyler Marvel was 2 for 4 with 4 rbi's along with teammate Katherine Harmon scored three runs to pace the Lady Royals of Delmarva Christian to a 10-2 win over the Lady Blue Jays of Seaford.





Mount Pleasant's shortstop Devon Henry provided most of the offense and defense the Green Knights needed going 3 for 4 with a double and adding 4 putouts and 5 assists on defense as they defeated the Lady Colonials of William Penn by a 6-1 score. Sarah Gosling pitched a 2 hitter giving up a triple in the 7th to William Penn's J. Rufino. Nicole Thompson drove in 2 runs in Mount's 7th. Stefina Clark struck out 10 for the Colonials.

3-23-14-Softball-Winning pitcher Anna Fournaris improves her record at 1-0 threw a 2 hit shutout in her varsity pitching debut for the Auks as they defeated the Lady Colonials of William Penn by a 12-0 score.

Offensively, Sami Mengers drove in 5 runs to lead the Auks. Maryanna Lynch went 3 for 3 with 3 runs scored, Anna Baxter added 3 hits and 2 runs, and Nikki Russo drove in 3 runs on 2 hits including a solo homerun. Ruffino and Testa singled for William Penn.





Caroline Jadick tripled to lead off the sixth inning rally for the Lady Jags and doubled to lead of the 5 run 7th as the Jags defeated the Lady Silver Eagles of Hodgson by a 11-7 score. Jadick along with Lexi Ramos, Shelby Tennant, Courtney Cochran,, and Lauren Hoffman each had multiple hit games for APPO. Karina Atanacio allowed one earned run to get the win and Lauren Hoffman closed out the game with a perfect 7 for APPO. Kayla Chapman had an RBI single for Hodgson.





Katie Sterling went 3 for 3 with 3 triples and 2 Stolen bases while Haley Powers hit a grand slam HR in the 6th for St. Georges as they defeated the Lady Redskins by a 8-1 score. Kristina Hawke also added a triple for St. Georges. Lexi Baughman 1-0 went the distance for St. Georges scattering 6 hits with 5Ks. Losing pitcher Sarah Bessel of Conrad 1-1 also went 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and scored Conrad's only run.





DMA defeated Delcastle 21-1 and was led by Sarah Godek who was 4 for 4, 4 runs scored and 5 RBI's. Katie Pupillo 3 for 4, Hannah Belair 3 for 4 with 3 RBI's and Lauren Maichle 3 for 3 with 4 RBI's. DTC's Eugenea Campbell was 1 for 2 with a double and a run scored. Freshman Emely Subda 1-0 records her first win for DMA.


3-27-14-Kierstin Fallers, Shannon McGee, and Alexis Brooks all had 2 hits a piece for Padua as they defeated Ursuline 10-0. Olivia Ellis threw a 2 hit shut out and Emily Glatts scored twice.

Taylor Steger was 2-3 with a double and 2 runs scored for Conrad as they defeated Archmere 17-5. Nikki Russo was 2-3 with a double and a steal of home for Archmere


Winning pitcher Lexi Baughman at 1-0 pitched a 1 hitter with 7 strikeouts while Katie Sterling went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles with 3 RBIs paced the Lady Hawks of St. Georges by a 14-1 score.


Nicole Bader records her first victory for the 2014 season as she paced the Lady Cougars of Delcastle to a 14-1 win over the Lady Colonials of William Penn. Asia Coleman and Lizjae Matos lead the Delcastle cougars with 2 RBIs. William Penn's Stewart was 2-3 with a run scored.


Mounts Sarah Gosling overcame a sore pitching hand and 7 team errors to throw a three hitter and win in a come from behind victory for the green knights as they defeated the Lady Bulldogs of Brandywine by a 10-7 score. She also scored and drove in a run. Her battery mate Case Wakai went 3 for 4 and scored two runs to aid the cause. Hobbled Captain Jackie Beeson went 2 for 2 with an important RBI in Mounts explosive come from behind 6th inning.


Danielle Mendez and Janelle Hessler were both 3 for 4 with 3 RBI for St. Mark's, while Meghan Salter 1-0 pitched a three-hitter striking out 7. Kennedy Smith and Maura Binkley drove in 2 runs each for the Spartans as they won 19-2. Marlee Marucci hit a two-run homerun for DAPSS.


Winning pitcher Haylee Scruggs at 1-0 had 4 strikeouts giving up only 3 hits. Rajene Bowe had 2 hits and 2 runs, Megan Fy had 4 hits 2 rbis 3 runs,, Kate Richard had 3 homeruns 4 rbis and 1 walk, Kylie Nelson 1 hit 1 run, Haylee Scruggs had 1 hit 1 run, Kasey Fry had 2 hits 1 run 1 rbi, Jenna Campbell had 1 run, Harley Rickards had 1 run 1 rbi, Allie Sanders had 1 run 1 rbi


Erin Anderson had a grand slam and Kylie Shivery was 2 for 3 to lead the way for the Charter a 13-1 win over Newark. Meghan Cowan 1-0 scattered 3 hits to pick up the win. Erica McDermott had a single and a run scored for Newark.


Seray Cresenzo a double, triple & scored 3 runs Margo Donlin a triple 2 hits & 3 rbi's Cori Rydgren had 8 k"s & no hits to pace Concord to a 13-1 win over Glasgow. For the Lady Dragons, Ashley Brogan a triple & an Rbi


Jayme Richardson had three RBI's including two solo homeruns to help APPO get the win as they defeated DMA 9-4. Richardson along with Caroline Jadick and Hayley Zwier each had three hits for APPO, While Courtney Cochran contributed going 4 for 5 on the day and Lexi Ramos added two hits of her own including a two run triple in the forth.. Lauren Stasio had three hits for DMA while Kayla Frazer hit a two run double.

Hodgson's Karri McMillan went 3 for 5 with a grand slam and 9 RBI's. Mackenzie Edler, Paige Meddings, and Kendra Ziemba had 3 hits apiece for the Silver Eagles as they defeated Brandywine 16-11. Brandywine's Laurel Bradley had 3 hits in the game while Sierra Wright, Samantha Satcher, and Lexie Paul had 2 hits apiece for the Bulldogs.

Alicia Cross pitched a no-hitter and Katie Pupillo was 2 for 3 with 3 RBI as they paced DMA to a 14-1 win over Delmarva Christian. Mackenzie Waide scored for DCHS

Sarah Bessel was 3-4 with a double and 3 runs scored. Taylor Steger hit a first inning Home Run, and Stephanie Lane went 3-3 with 2 runs scored for Conrad as they defeated Wilmington Christian 9-2. Jordan Donovan was 2-3 for Wilm. Christian And Kaitlyn Chambers had a double for the Warriors. Conrad moved to 3-0 in the conference

Ashlee Stritzinger had three hits and Seray Cresenzo and Rachel Pritchard had two each for Concord as they defeated Archmere 13-1.

Olivia Ellis threw a 3 hit shut out. Padua scored 4 times in the 5th with an RBI double by Alexis Brooks, followed by an RBI triple from Kierstin Fallers. Cam Simendinger threw out 3 runs attempting to steal and had 2 hits for Padua as they defeated the Lady Lions from Red Lion Christian by a 5-0 score.

Caesar Rodney defeated Middletown 7-0 got multiple hits from Mirabella Klebart, Cassetty Howerin, Rosa'lynn Burton, and Chaney Jones in the shutout. Burton tripled and hit an inside the park homerun. Lauren Polinski and Jordan Moseley combined to pitch the shutout. Middletown got two hits from Royston.

Smyrna was led by Amber Carrow, Karen Cimaglia, Brianna Sapienza each having 2 hits. Carrow and Cimaglia had 4 RBIs each and Sapienza had 3 RBIs. Julia Waters for Newark had two hits and an RBI. Ashleigh Cavanaugh, Roe Woodson, RIcki McDermitt, and Nicole Carter each had one hit on the day for the Jackets. Smyrna defeated Newark 16-2.

Hodgson's Kendra Ziemba singled in the go ahead run in the top of the 9th inning to put the Silver Eagles ahead for good in the game as they defeated Wilmington Christian 7-6. Courtney Dellinger and Karri McMillan had 4 hits apiece for Hodgson. Daniela Solis went 3 for 5 for Wilmington Christian.

Lexi Baughman recorded her 7th straight win for St. Georges as they defeated McKean 10-0 while striking out 8 and also going 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs. Also for St. Georges, Sarah Coyne was 2 for 3 with a double and triple with 2 RBIs, Morgan Ross was 2 for 3 with a HR, and Haley Powers and Hunter Smith also had doubles. Rosa Vega was 2 for 2 and Alexis Newton had a double for Mckean.


Emily Glatts, Brianna Serafin, Kierstin Fallers, Alexis Brooks, and Olivia Ellis each had two hits for Padua as they defeated Milford 10-2. Haley Scruggs had two doubles. Rajene Bowe had a triple and an amazing diving catch in center field.

Freshman Danielle Bowlby playing in her first varsity game homered, doubled and scored 3 runs as AI defeated Delcastle 8-1 in the first game of the Tiger Classic. Becca Outten also added 2 hits and Morgan Cummings scattered 4 hits and struck out 5 as she picked up her 2nd win of the season. Danielle Adams had 2 hits and scored the run for Delcastle.

Jenny DeFriece was 4 for 4 with agrand slam home run, Jess Fyock had 2 doubles with 3 hits. Rachel Pritchard had 11 strike outs.J Hessler, K. Dudik & D. Mendezhad St. Marks hits Concord defeats St. Marks 17-0.

Brandywine 7 St E 6 Brandywine took the lead in the 1st inning on Jackie Kozloskis big 3 run home run. Meghan Brown helped with with an RBI triple in the 3rd. Eryn Bailey and Laurel Bradley both had a double and Bradley picked up an RBI to help the team. Lauren Gallucio and Lexie Paul each had and RBI and a couple hits. Alicia Corrado also had 2 hits and got the win on the mound with 10 strike outs.
Regan Shinn had 3 hits including a triple to help St. Elizabeth bring some runs in. They also had big hits from Jaclyn Garyantes and Olivia Donahue.

Sussex Tech 4 Indian River 3 Erykah Tolliver's ground single in to left fiels scored Shannon Lord with the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the 6th. Lord was running for Courtney Tate. Tate had a double and a home run for the Ravens. Winning pitcher Alleigh Townsend came on with one out in the 6th and two runners on. Townsend retired 5 of the 6 batters she faced.
