Brandywine 11 Newark 8 Matt McGill started on the mound for Brandywine picking up the win, throwing 6 solid innings giving up 4 runs. Brandywine's offense was led by Ryan DePasquale going 2-2 with two runs scored and two walks. Aidan Kee finished the game 2-2, with two walks, two runs scored, and two RBI's. Newark's offense swung the bats well recording five extra base hits on the day.

Tatnall 14 Delcastle 3 Andrew Scott pitched 6 strong innings striking out 12 to lead the Hornets over Delcastle. Scott also drove in 3 runs and stole 2 bases. Tre Marcoz, Jacob Glazier, and Luke Kain paced the Hornets' attack with 2 hits apiece. Marcoz and Glazier each added 3 RBI to the cause. Oscar Cotto reached base twice, scored once and drove in 1 for the Cougars.

Sussex Central 17 Polytech 7
Troy Morris led Sussex Central going 3-3 with 4 rbis. Brenden Anderson was 2-3, Noah Burroughs 2-4 and Brayden Tidwell 2-3 on the day.
Delmarva Christian Royals Varsity fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 18-1 loss to Middletown High School.

Middletown got on the board in the first inning. Sophy singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run. In the fourth inning, Middletown scored eight runs. The big inning for Middletown High School came thanks to a triple by B Boyd, a single by Zakary, and home run by W Austin.

Royals freshman, Chet Furmanek hit his first varsity homer in the second inning.

Salesianum 11 Smyrna 0
Salesianum defeated Smyrna 11-0 on Saturday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Cory Sheridan pitched Salesianum to the victory. Sheridan surrendered zero runs on three hits over four innings, striking out four and walking one. Mason Mercante threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Salesianum racked up six hits on the day. Deuce Rzucidlo, Vincent Offutt, and John Dunion each had up multiple hits.

Dylan Wiley, Robert Durnall, Derrek Davis, and Connor Ryan all had hits for Smyrna.

DMA 13 Friends 3 DMA- Logan Wiley picked up his first varsity win on the mound striking out 7. Sean Bogan reached base all 5 times going 3-3 scoring 4 runs. Peyton Brannock had 4 hits and 4 rbi's. Tyler August drove in 3 runs. WFS- Nathaniel Huxtable had a two run single in the 3rd inning. Avery Gaines had a double for the Quakers.

St. Elizabeth 4 Mt. Pleasant 1 St. Elizabeth received two hits from Eric O'Neill. Two RBI's from Ben Campbell and one RBI each from Jimmy Garrett and Matt Trout. Matt Trout had a solo homerun. Evan Schuibbeo lead Mt. Pleasant with three hits two were doubles and one RBI.

Sanford 15 AI DuPont 3 Luke Filliben had 2 doubles and 3 RBI for Sanford. Colton Ferguson, Brady Fox, and Ryan Timmons also had multi-hit games for the Warriors. Brady Bollman(W) and Colton Ferguson combined to strike out 8 on the mound. For AI, Anthony Crespo, Anthony Ferrera, and J.C. Alley all had multi-hit games.

St. Marks 9 Lake Forest 1 The Saint Mark's Spartans were led on the mound by Steven Mann, who pitched 5 strong innings striking out 6. Todd Gilardi pitched the final 2 innings, allowing only 1 hit. James Baffone and Tyler Satterfield both had multiple hits for the Spartans. Howard Gannon led the Lake Forest offense with 2 hits.
