Smyrna Eagles Baseball watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 16-1 loss to Cape Henlopen on Tuesday. Cape Henlopen scored on a single by Brenn Scott in the first inning, a single by Justin Marsh in the first inning, a single by Joshua Reinhold in the second inning, and a single by Scott in the second inning.
Henlopen collected 15 hits. Isaac Terhune, Scott, Brian Fleming, and Marsh all managed multiple hits for Cape Henlopen. Terhune led Cape Henlopen with three hits in three at bats.
Connor Wilson, Dylan Wiley, Connor Strauss, Derek Davis, and Junior Durnall each collected one hit to lead Smyrna Eagles Baseball.
Nichalos Cox earned the win for Cape Henlopen. The fireballer lasted seven innings, allowing five hits and one run while striking out nine.

Concord 11 AI DuPont 1 Concord defeated Ai duPont in a conference game behind Dylan Cruser's pitching. Cruser gave up one run , scattered three hits and struck out eight batters in five innings of work. Cruser also added two hits and one RBI. Andrew Firko had two doubles for the Raiders. Charlie Lynch added two hits and three RBI's for Concord. Russell Dillard had two hits for AI duPont.

Conrad 10 Newark Charter School 0 Highlights:Joseph Malinowski threw a gem on Tuesday for Conrad allowing zero runs and besting Newark Charter School by a score of 10-0. Conrad collected nine hits on the day. Wesley Mah and Tyler Pirrung all collected multiple hits for Conrad Red Wolves. Pirrung and Mah each managed two hits to lead Conrad Red Wolves. Conrad Red Wolves stole four bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Mah led the way with two.Aiden Kutch doubled for Newark Charter.

Brandywine 11 Odessa 1 Matt McGill started on the mound for Brandywine earning the win and striking out 7. Will Jones, Ryan Depasquale, and Brandon Gamble led the Brandywine offense each with two hits. Chad Imburgia, Aidan Kee, and Sean Chetty each had multiple RBIs. The Odessa offense was led by Mackenzie Keating hitting a triple with a run scored.

Sussex Central. 10 Caesar Rodney 2 Brenden Anderson threw 4 innings allowing 2 unearned runs on 4 hits. Cole Rogers threw the final three innings allowing just 1 hit. Anderson and Steen had multiple hits for the Knights. Rigby had an RBI for the Riders.

Delaware Military Academy 15 MOT Charter 1 Sammy Diaz, Dylan Delcollo, Jacob Greenwood, and Henry Kuratle all had multiple hits and RBIs for the Seahawks. Matthew Lewis and Solomon Devard had a hit for the Mustangs.

Polytech 2 Dover 0 Conner Bartlett scattered six hits striking out six and walking one for the win. Cole Greene went the distance for Dover striking out ten batters.

Delmar 1 Indian River 0
Andrew Callaway through 6 scoreless innings for Delmar securing the win. Callaway gave up only 3 hits while striking out 10. Tucker Pierson had the only run batted in of the game coming in the first inning on a double to right field.

Frank Bunting also went 6 innings giving up only 3 hits, 1 run and striking out 4.

Mt. Pleasant 5 Newark 4
Mount Pleasant Green Knights ran off with the lead late in the game in a 5-4 victory over Newark on Tuesday. The game was tied at four with the Green Knights batting in the bottom of the sixth when Parker Ilgaz singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Newark got on the board first in the second inning when Gallaher drove in one on a single.

Cooper Berry earned the victory on the hill for Mount Pleasant Green Knights. Berry went six innings, allowing four runs on 11 hits and striking out two. Derrick Smith threw one inning in relief, earning the save out of the bullpen.

Calabrese toed the rubber for Newark. The pitcher allowed four hits and three runs over three innings, striking out four. Blevins threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Mount racked up six hits in the game. Berry and Ryan Gray had two hits for the Green Knights.

Newark tallied 11 hits in the game. Porrini, Knies, and Pike each had multiple hits for Newark. Porrini went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Newark in hits.

Lake Forest 2 Delmar 1 Adam Schiff drove in Jonathan Tyndall in the 5th inning to put the Spartans up 2-1. Quinton Maris came in relief of Tristan McCray to pick up the save. McCray and TJ Hooks also added hits for Lake. For Woodbridge, Seth Smart was outstanding on the mound striking out 6. Logan Moran had an rbi single in the 4th.

Middletown 13 Delcastle 1 Middletown scored 13 runs while collecting 8 total hits against Delcastle, to earn the Win. Michael Lotharp and Brandon Boyd led the Cavaliers at the plate, eaching gathering 2 hits. Chase Timmons earned the win for Middletown throwing 2 innings, giving up 1 ER. Blackston tallied 2 hits for Delcastle.

Tower Hill 9 St. Andrews 8 Tower Hill picked up the win on a late inning comeback. Jordan Harmon had two hits and two RBI's. Gavin Heck had two hits with a double. For the Saints, Chris Buntner, George Windels and Jeonuk Kye had two hit each.

Caravel Academy 18 Odyssey Charter 0
JT Wingo led the offense with a hit and 4 rbi. Nick Farraj was 2-2 with 2 rbi. John Antonio had a hit and 2 rbi.

Ian Lester and Jack Tolerico had hits for Odyssey.

St. Georges 8 William Penn 6 In a back and forth conference game St. Georges found a way to secure the victory. William Penn jumped out to a 4-1 lead after the first inning and tied the game up 6-6 after the fourth. Turner, Wilson, and Tiberi contributed two hits a piece with Wilson and Tiberi adding RBIs. The St. Georges offense was lead by B Sullivan, three hits and two runs scored, as well as Jimmy Breen and Donovan Brooks with two hits and a run scored each. Brayden Fields hit a two run homer in the fifth inning to take the lead for the Hawks. Winning pitcher Bobby Stewart gave way to Jimmy Breen who picked up the three inning save striking out eight.

Sanford 15 St. Elizabeth 2 Brady Bollman got the win on the mound for Sanford, scattering 4 hits over 5 innings. Owen Barlow had 2 hits, 2 RBI, and scored 2 runs. Colton Ferguson scored 4 runs and had 2 hits. Jack Lazarski also had 2 hits for the Warriors. Matthew Trout had 2 hits for St. Elizabeth.
