District 1 is the first Delaware team to make it to a Big League World Series since the 2005 District 2 team.

Cape Henlopen's Senior team is 4-1 in the East Regional and plays NJ tonight for a chance at playing PA in the final.

Cape lost 1-0 to New Jersey and ended 4-2 in regionals.

Delaware District 1 the East team beat central region winner Michigan 4-2 in first game of the World Series.

We gave them all they could handle at the World Series. One correction oldtimer22...we won the East in 2006 as well(Dover District 1). Beat Michigan 4-2, Beat Texas 6-0, lost to California 2-1, then lost to the host SC team 8-7. California won the US championship and went on to lose the World finals to Puerto Rico 3-1.
