Brandywine 9 AI 2 The hitting attack was led by Nate Taylor and Brandon Gamble with two hits each. Brandon also picked up his 6th win of the season while striking out 11. Dominick Pasquarella had two hits for A.I. First state tournament win for Brandywine since 2002.

Charter 8 Laurel 3 Brady Harach struck out 9 and scattered 4 hits in 6 innings to earn the win for Charter. Sam Lefton struck out the side in the top of the 7th inning to close the game out. Drew Brady, Cameron Starr, Brendan Craig and Pete Taylor all had 2 hits for the Force. Brady, Starr and Kevin Callahan had 2 RBI each. Damin Smith had 2 hits, including a double, for Laurel.

Dover 23 McKean 0 Dover's Cole Greene and Brandon Yoder pitched a combined no-hitter with 10 strikeouts for the DIAA state tournament win over McKean. Brandon Yoder was (4-4) with 6 RBI and an inside the park grand slam for the Dover offense. Guy(3-3), McCoy, Rodriguez, Greene, Landfried, Christiansen, Turner, Gray and Thomas all recorded RBIs for the Senators.

Smyrna Eagles defeated Odyssey Charter 17-1. Smyrna secured the victory thanks to 12 runs in the first inning. Ratcliffe, Drummond, Wilson, Ryan, Mannering, and Drummond all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning. Smyrna collected 16 hits in the game w/ Jake Macey, Wilson, Ratcliffe, Mannering, Drummond,and Leager all collected multiple hits for Smyrna.

Red Lion 10 Mt. Pleasant 0 Gavin Shields pitched a 5 inning no-hitter to lead Red Lion over Mt. Pleasant in a 1st round State Tournament Game. Brandon Anderson (2-3 2RBI), Tyler Sareyka (2-3 3 RBI) and Zack Villamor (2-2 2 RBI) led the Red Lion offense.

Hodgson 8 St. Andrews 4 Hodgson broke the game open in the 4th inning with singles by Cody Miller and John Pflugrad and a triple by Robert Burris. Hodgson now moves to the next round in tournament against Sussex Central on Thursday.

Caesar Rodney 8 MOT Charter 3 Graham Buckson earned the win on the mound striking out 5 over 5 innings of work. Alex Bauer hit a 2 run homerun in the 5th inning. Tate Wisniewski collected multiple hits for the Riders. Solomon Devard had a multi hit day for the Mustangs. Conor Dougherty went 2 for 3 with a double driving in 3 runs for the Mustangs.

St. Elizabeth 9 Woodbridge 1 Robbie Falcone, Andrew Spychalski and James Garrett all had two hits each for St. Elizabeth. Seth Smart had two hits including a triple for Woodbridge. Jaden Dickerson picked up the win on the mound scattering four hits.

Sussex Academy 6 William Penn 5
Sussex Academy rallied from a 3 run deficit to go up 6 -3 going in to the 7th.
Penn score 2 runs in the 7th with the tying run on second .Brayden Tidwell struck out two consecutive batters to earn the save.
Wyatt Skinner pitched 6 innings for the Seahawks allowing 5 hits and striking out 5.
Skinner and Chet Mariner each had 2 hits for the Seahawks.First State Tournament win for Sussex Academy in school history.

Newark Charter 6 Newark 5 Cam Leighton drove in Jordan Neitfeld and Hunter Harach in the bottom of the 7th for the walk-off win versus Newark. Matt Benninghoff earned the win, tossing 6 innings 1-hit, shutout ball after Newark scored 5 in the first inning. Eddie Klima had 2 hits and 2 RBI's to help the Patriot offense.
