| The game was a pitchers duel for the first five innings; Both starting pitchers, freshman Gage Joseph for Cape Henlopen and Zach Czarnecki for Salesianum each allowed only one run on three hits. Czarnecki went on to chalk up a complete game allowing no further runs. With a runner on second in the bottom of the 5th, Ben Venema scorched a line drive to right field to put Salesianum on the board tying the game at one apiece. Salesianum right fielder, Conor Campbell, reached base on all three plate appearances, including a double. He earned an RBI and a run scored.
