Odessa Ducks would have BA uniforms and gear just like Oregon with don't bend-the-brim lids. Well, it's just a thought. I still think it is better than that Jaguar scam a couple of years ago. They should of been named the Elusive Cougar(s).

looks like around 2017 or 2018.. Originally planned for around 2015 but the economy and decrease in building new homes has pushed it back a little.. It will be on the same campus as the brand new (opened this year) Spring Meadow Early Childhood Center and Old State Elementary. There is also a middle school planned for that campus.. It is an approx 240 acre site with Football and Baseball Stadiums planned. Outdoor classrooms with ampitheater, jogging trails etc.. I have seen the models and it is absolutely amazing.
It is right off Old State Rd/299. Just go east from Odessa on Rt 299 and you will run into it about 1-2 miles down on the right..
I was thinking they might be called the Muskrats since u have to pass thru the marsh in Odessa to get there.. But I'm liking Charlie's suggestion that on the Ducks..
BTW Charlie, did u play at Mtown? I think I know who u are and u played with my nephew there if u are the person that I'm thinking of..

I don't get it. I've been to a few Appo games and I haven't found the cougars very elusive. A simple smile and a wink works well.
BTW CG, I did not play at MT. However, 3 of my kids played for BDN program and 4 of my kids for MDP program. I can't think of two finer gentlemen or programs to have your children associated with. Also, between me, you, and the fence post..........................the system works.

any idea what the enrollment might be for a school like that? Would they be able to make the requirement for d1?
I don't know enrollment numbers. For a smooth bumpless transition I would hope for a Frosh schedule, than a JV, than V D2 and hopefully some day up with the drakes. It takes time to write/rewrite the script.

Ironic that the School District down there would have the Cowbells, Duck calls and appo high with that cannon. Seems their district is clearly the most obnoxious!

The play of the game for me was the onside kick attempt towards the Cavs 50 yard sideline. Two hundreths of a second and it's a different game. Good job Hands Return.
I really liked the Cavalier Marching Band glide/roll/marking/sliding/backward/change direction foot work, it was really cutting the turf, as good as CR W-T.

What can a dollar get you? My favorite CR-MT moment... several years ago....MT gets flagged, false start....Coach wants to know what is going on....young Cav responds in a heart beat....There was a dollar on the field....I didn't want anyone else to get it.

History repeats itself, the names just change. We had this same conversation a couple of years ago on this board.
Maybe someone will recall. I do know that the late great Ray Charles could of seen it happening last night. My first reaction was here we go again.
Punt team is called.... Punt return team is called...Who has Containment of the Hot Man......................................................................That was a line call between QB/Hot and if everyone is on same page it's done none verbal. That is what you are trained to do. Coaches do not call fake punts with two minutes left with a 27 point lead unless you are at the next level where there is no mercy. I am glad there was not a TD.
I do like a QB/Hot that have the courage to finish a faceless opponent. That courage will serve them well at the next level.
However, we are not at the next level and we have two above average players who just snookered there faceless opponent. I'll ask again who has the ultimate responsibilty to cover the Hot Man.
That is the way I see it. Now my question is what was the hidden agenda for not covering the Hot Man or was this a simple let down that two above average players were quick to seize opportunity?
