Dover (12-4) @ Delmar (13-4). Both teams should be in the playoffs. But If Dover wins here, they claim the Hen. North. Dover is 9-3 in conference while Cape and Smyrna are 9-4 and done conference play. If Dover loses, there potentially could be a four way tie for the conference lead (assuming Poly wins its last two conference games). Dover has lost two of its last four games (TEch and Central) to jeopardize its title. Lets see if they can put it to bed. Delmar had been on a hot streak before losing their conference battle with Milford earlier in the week. Delmar should be in the playoffs even with a loss, but it could be a close call.

Polytech (11-5) @ Milford (11-5). Milford already won its conference and punched a ticket to the playoffs. Wins at this point just get them a better seed for the tourney. Finishing with Poly and St Marks is a great tuneup for the tourney. Milford has won 5 of its last 6 games. Polytech still has a chance to get into a Hen North tie if Dover loses, and Poly wins its final two with Milford and CR. Things could get a little dicey if Poly loses both games. Poly has lost 2 of its last four (Delmar and Central) to make things interesting here at the end. Also as a side note, Poly and Milford both have 11 wins...which means if either or both win one in their last two, they send an extra bonus pts to all of its opponents.

Appo (14-3) vs St E (11-5). 7pm FRAWLEY STADIUM, Appo has now lost 2 of its last 3 games and either have gone flat or has other issues. In their last 4 they barely beat Concord; lost to Newark; Barely beat St G; and lost to Cape. Appo can't be looking forward to a desperate St E team. St E is at 11-5 and currently on the bubble with points. I would say at least 1 win in its final 2 games should ensure a spot in the tourney, but if they lose to Appo and Arch it might be a problem. St E has played very well of late, winning 5 straight games. Also, if St E wins 1 of its last 2 they get to 12 wins and thus spread an extra bonus pts to all its opponents.

Bwine (10-5) @ Concord (3-13). Concord has not played well enough this year. Bwine still has an outside chance at the tourney. Currently they are about 8 pts from the bubble, but they do have 3 games remaining and 8 potential bonus pts on the table. They play Concord, HOdgson and Friends to finish the season. 3 wins will give them a decent shot...not sure if just 2 wins will do it.

Wilm Christian (6-8) @ Wilm Friends (9-7). The battle of Wilmington...assuming someone wants that title...WC has 4 games left and is way back in the pack of the playoff points race. Mathematically they have a glimmer, but in reality i think that winning all four games still puts them on the outside of the bubble. And with only 3 potential bonus pts out there to earn, i don't see it happening. Friends is another team that even if they win their final 2 games, it might be a little too late to have a serious shot. They also only have a few bonus pts on the shelf to earn.

Seaford (7-8) @ St Thomas More (2-10). St Thomas More just had a close loss to Howard, but i don't think they will do so well against a decent Seaford team. Seaford was rolling along, playing some scrappy baseball with a 6-4 record and wins over Poly and Delmar. But they have lost 4 of their last 5 games and pretty much knocked themselves out of the tourney. They got a decent chance of winning 2 of their last three (playing St Thomas, Howard and Tech) and finishing with a .500 record for the first time in 10 years.

CR (7-9) @ Wm Penn (6-11). CR has won 3 straight games by a score of 7-6. Another team mathematically still in it if they win their last two games of WP and Poly. But they most likely won't have enough pts to get in. More importantly to everyone else, if CR does win both, they give a bonus point to all their opponents. WP has had a very disappointing season after 3 straight .500 or better seasons.

DAPSS (4-9) @ Sanford (3-13). Not going to be a pretty game. Sanford just ended their 9 game losing streak with a win over A.I. on Wednesday. DAPSS is having their worst season in their brief 4 year history.

Milford over Poly 9-8. was a see-saw game. Poly jumped out 4-0 in top 1st, 5-0 after 2. Milford scored 2 in the 4th and 5 in the 5th to take a 7-5 lead into the 6th. Poly tied it up in top 6th, but Milford scratched 2 more runs home in the bottom of the 6th to make it 9-7. With 2 outs in the top of the 7th Poly started a rally on a single, Walk and single to make it 9-8. Next batter walked and with 2 outs and 2 runners on the game ended on an infield popup.

Defensively this game was ugly. Milford committed 7 errors and Poly had at least 4.

St. E's just intentionally walked Steckline with two outs and nobody on. You've got to be kidding me. Ends up getting walked in. Baseball karma.
