Games Today - Tuesday April 1st

Looks like a nice day to play some high school baseball.

Highlighted Games.

Charter @ Glasgow. Charter (1-0) slid by Newark last week. Glasgow (0-1) lost big to Concord.

Archmere @ Conrad. Archmere (2-0) won big against Middletown & Wm Penn. Conrad (1-1) surprised St E but fell short against St Georges.

Ai Dupont @ Newark. This one is for 8yaz. Game of the day. Just kidding. Both 0-1 but lost close games.

Concord @ Appo. Concord (1-0) won big over Glasgow. Appo (1-2) lost two close games to Delmar & Hodgson, while winning big against Brandywine.

Milford @ Delmar. Milford (1-1) smoked out of state Caroline, but got smoked by Smyrna. Delmar (2-0) comes into the game with close wins over Appo & IR.

Sussex Central @ Polytech. Polytech is 1-0 with a big win over IR. Central is playing in its first game of the season.

IR @ Dover. IR has started off 0-2 with losses to Delmar & Polytech. Dover crushed Delmarva Christian 25-0 in its first game.

Penn Charter @ Caravel - NIGHT GAME. Caravel (2-0) starts off hot with a 10 run rule over Cape and a walkoff hit against Sallies. Penn Charter has started their season 3-0, all big wins. Penn Charter was 13-13 last season.

The Harding kid from Delmar is one of the better, most underrated players in the Henlopen Conference. Big one for Delmar in the South.

Central at Poly is a very intriguing game.

As for up north, just how good is Conrad after a surprise win and close loss? Big one for Appo as the try to climb out of early 0-2 hole.

Appo has new coaching i believe. Maybe kids aren't buying in??? Or slow to buy in??? They have a little talent there.

They lost three close games to pretty decent opponents Delmar, Hodgson & Concord. So maybe Appo is decent, but just can't get over the hump to get the W. It seems they were up early in two of the three losses.

Their next four are Newark, Glasgow, Sallies & Delcastle. They certainly have an opportunity to turn things around if they are a decent team.

I watched Smyrna vs Lake yesterday seems like they have a stronger team than in years past.Also heard that they blew out Milford. Anyone have any more info on them?
