These are the rankings as of today - a couple of caveats:
1. I used laxpower records as of today- so if laxpower is wrong, this is wrong
2. I used winning pct. as of today to determine bonus points (see #4 below)
3. I double checked my numbers, but there may be a 1 point mistake here or there.
4.VERY IMPORTANT - I GUARANTEE these rankings will change before they are finalized. There are too many close games left among playoff teams that will have a big impact, plus there are many teams that will have their bonus points change by Saturday.
A perfect example is Wilmington Friends - right now, their record is 8-4, a .667 winning pct., which gives all of their opponents 1 bonus point. If Friends wins all 3 of its remaining games, they go to 11-4, a .733 winning pct. and 2 bonus points to their opponents. This has a big effect on Tower Hill - they could get 2 extra points from Friends winning out.
So, please do not look at this and say "Polytech will play Smyrna in the first round" - I am 99% certain that will not happen. This just gives you an idea of where the teams stand going into their last 2-3 games.
Numbers shown are Total Points / # of games played
1. Sallies (38/13) - unlike last year, Sallies locked as #1 seed
2. Tower Hill (33/13)
2. Cape (33/13) - Cape and Tower play on Friday, so this will have a big effect
4. St Marks (32/13)
5. Polytech (34/14)
6. DMA (29/12)
6. Friends (29/12)
8. CR (31/13)
9. Dover (29/13)
10. Appo (26/12)
10. Archmere (26/12)
12 Smyrna (27/13)
13 Delmar (22/11)
14. Middletown (23/12)
15. Caravel (22/12)
16. Charter (23/13)
16. AI DuPont (23/13)
18. Concord (21/12)
