In a NCAA Super Regional deciding game 3 the upstart Cavaliers of Virginia came back from a 2-1 deficit as they scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning on a grand slam home run by Kyle Teel as they defeated Dallas Baptist University by a 5-2 score. Local Delaware athletes are currently playing for Virginia from Cape Henlopen HIgh in Jr Zack Gelof who walked and scored 1 run, brother Jake Gelof 2 singles scored 1 run both off the grand slam.
