You'll never win with Ryan. Not that he's not busting his butt recruiting DMA and his new dome so he can win but players have little respect for him. And he has screwed plenty of players over. Hanson. Naughton and Morrow to name a few. He helped none of them with college ball yet they all are playing.
1) Not returning college coaches calls, after they've called and left several messages for him
2) not telling "said" students when colleges come to visit them
3) telling student they are only D3 good at best when in fact one of these kids was a D1 walk on, and the other D1 full ride and one D2.
I forgot to mention his D3 player at king's college. Unsure if he assisted with that one or not.
My one son played for him my other plays for Sallies.

as an DMA parent i have not experienced this with the program or the coach. This day and age the parent controls the recruiting process anyway, the coach/school is a piece of it. @BigDEnd97 have you contacted the coach and had a discussion about all your concerns or you gonna get your “intel” from a forum board? Nobody is keeping you there, your son can roll the first year without penalty of transfer. I don’t want to Watch you bitch for the next 2 years. @D1DLine I noticed how you signed up on Depreps to bash everything with the program after the last weeks loss! Looks like sour grapes to me... we can all sit here an pick apart something from each school in the state.
@Truckem22, no one believes everything you hear or read in a forum. It’s up to the individual to either except or reject what they are reading. I haven’t read anything derogatory from bigend on this forum. When a person responds with wow, thanks for the info you would have to see or actually hear those words to determine if they like it or if they are astonished by it or just blowing the writer off. Anyway, just my two cents
DMA vs. Conrad is like Ohio State vrs. Michigan. This game alone will drive many kids to enroll at DMA. You are correct. Many titles will be won at DMA. They ust need the scaredy cats like Delmar and Caravel and Howard to play them.
DMA HC/AD dodged Caravel and then were the true catalyst in making sure the Caravel vs Concord game got squashed. Caravel would have done the same thing Delmar did to DMA and that is expose a team that was tested VERY little during the regular season.
That being said, if that is at all true about Ryan that's just about as low as you can get. He's AD/HFC how much more of an AWESOME job can you get? Seriously, dude probably makes decent coin to set up games, get referees, make sure there are buses, meet with coaches, watch HUDL all day, oh and yeah probably call back any college your kids are interested.
I can't buy that he's that bad...if so. That's lame and DMA should do something about it.

Caravel Dodges Know in Div II. DMA product of a SOFT SCHEDULE. Two times number one seed both times out coached bad. I think they have talent but must play as tougher schedule so they will be battle tested. Coach is more worried about having a good record. Or possible getting exposed. But he the AD he will not fire himself. Until he challenges his DMA teams the same thing will happen big regular season record. Then one and done. REMEMBER ITS NOT THE PLAYERS............
Check out their football schedule for next year on Web4sports.com. Only 4 teams have the guts to play them. Next, check out their BBALL schedule and compared it to a peer school like St. E's.

So "Caravel Dodger" Mike Ryan can get on the horn with the Bucs, Delmar, A.I., Tower Hill, Saint Mark's, Friends, Tower Hill, Tatnall, Milford, Seaford,etc...they have to play somebody. Something has to give.
Don't make it sound like he's making calls to get games against good programs, but hey I'm sure he's trying to beat the more tamed RLCA.

Caravel would love to play DMA. Coach Ryan declined to play them. Come on Ryan take the plunge play Caravel.

I'd like to know why in the hell are we still talking about some team that got BOUNCED out of the playoffs in the first round when it's championship weekend and there's four better teams that deserves this spotlight

So apparently I'm not permitted to have an opinion on what i SEE on the field during games or else its called "bitching".... forgive me for calling it like i see it and not drinking the kool aid. as far as thanking the info that was given, i was curious to see what ppl were referring to. Simple as that. i take it for what it is worth coming from a public HS football forum. and if you don't want to see me "bitch" then skip my posts... simple as that... As far as transferring, its not going to happen, my son didn't choose to go to DMA based on the football program, He chose to go there because of the school itself and the military concentration it comes with. so...why would he transfer? If you'd like to discuss further as parents with kids in the program, i welcome that as well. I'm not hard to find 6'6, bald head goatee... come say hi!

Also part of a public forum, we are all entitled to our own opinion. Some of these guys feel like, if your opinion doesn’t match up with theirs then you don’t have a clue. Others think a difference in opinions means a fight, threats or name calling. Silly rabbits, tricks are for kids.
Ya Behind 8 other Schools.. Lost to the 8th Seed. They would not have even beat Caravel... Delmar out classed them. On Field.. And Delmar Really out Classed them in Coaching during the game.. Hearn showed Ryan up.... DMA product of a SOFT SCHEDULE...
