I should add that if a kid quits because of a message board thier parents have failed.

Not everything in life will be perfect and people will criticize you - message boards, bosses, etc. Start parenting and working through it with them and stop posting and trying to ruin this board.

Define parenting ? For everyone since your a professor on it. Maybe solved the riddle lol. Anyone who actually had kids multiple knows its not so cut and dry. The real issue is coaches who smoke do drugs drink with kids and do nothing to help them. Poorly educated maybe. This board is made up of wannabe fakes who only coach and post on the board to re live their highschool football days.

Actually dont disagree with alot of what you said here - my point is if your kid is getting upset over a message board pull them aside and tell them message boards are bullshit. They cant believe %99 of the crap on these boards and definitely shouldnt be quitting becuase of it.

As for the coaches - if what you say above is true wow definitely terrible coaches and they are the true root cause of the problem.
