Interesting statistics for the week:

1) There were no unanimous winners/losers this week. I can't remember that happening before.
2) Charter was picked to win by the most players, with 19 of 21 picking them to win.
3) Only 53.5% of total points were earned this week.
4) Overall winning percentage was 52.4%.
5) I don't want to go back and check every previous week over the last two years, but this week is almost certainly the worst week in the history of DHSCP prognostication.

I can attribute a lot of this to the new realignment. In years past it was hard to find 10 games where 1-3 of them weren't essentially gimme's. This year I am finding 11-13 good games and having to start with picking 12-15 games and then eliminate games down to 10. Each week I am like damn I should have put in that game instead of this game.. makes it challenging but fun. I think the folks playing are enjoying the game being a little tougher. Years past a score like 50 wins the week. This year 42 is a winning score as evident the last two weeks.

fyi.. love the new results and standings spreadsheets :)

I had some picks go awry this week, but me picking Red Lion that high was a huge blunder. Good to know I wasn't alone in the struggle this week.

True a lot of pickers had RLCA for big points.. not this guy.. The Milfs hurt me :p well them and I fell for the Newark hype again.. I really wanted to take Dover as well but was worried about Sat AM game for them.. no guts no glory 👻

Anybody who was actually at the Delmar/Friends game in week one knew that picking Red Lion, and picking them at 10, was a mistake.

It doesn't matter if I pick the Milfs to win or lose, they always screw me.

St. George's and Newark are the ones that doomed me my 9 and 8 point games, one of those win and I have a much better week lol

yo.. @Titanium Shadow what do you think about making spreadsheet where we can look at the districts and inner-district records . can start a thread on it to track as the year progresses? non DHSCP related

I'm not sure exactly what your vision is @BackinBlack86, but I would be willing to look into it if someone else puts together a list of all the game results each week.

BIB, I was at the Friends/Delmar game week 1, are you saying you saw something in Delmar at that game that made you think they were a good team?

I think this was meant for @Titanium Shadow I only picked Delmar for 1pt and only because it is though to travel down there and win in Delmar... I didn't see the Friends game only a couple of highlights from tweets

Yes I did. It was fairly obvious that the final score wasn't representative of how good either team was.

Didn’t get the impression Delmar was a good team from that game, they could not go forward on offense in the 1st half and defensively they could not stop Friends. Game was played even in second half. Not sure what you saw in Delmar that day that made you think they were good. Obviously you saw something I did not but not sure how you came out of that performance thinking Delmar would beat Red Lion. Good Job on ur part, bad job on my part

One could ask you the same question. What did you see in Red Lion that made you think they were a good team? I watched their game week one and I didn't see that. I certainly didn't see enough to think they would go down to Delmar and beat a Dave Hearn coached team at their place.

Are you a Friends fan @connorr1?

didn’t see red lion, but i know they played St Marks Relatively tough, and St Marks looked like a very solid team in scrimmages and against AI
