10 different instances thus far where a player has scored 30 or more points, looks like the kids have taken heed to Uncle Drew's message.....

"This game has always been - and will always be - about buckets." - Uncle Drew

Either that or some horrible defense being displayed.

30 is great for the game. 40 is even better...

Not certain if the cause for the uptick is bad defense, leaning more towards the new hand check call is creating more opportunities for points. Either by space created by rule or getting to the line because of rule. Noticing guards shooting large # of free throws but never stepped foot in the paint.

Players, defensively should focus on getting their heads in front of the ball by sliding their feet and instead of looking for steals focus on gaining 5 second calls. Worked on this exclusively with my guards this summer knowing the rule change was coming.

Per game average of free throws has gone from 32 to 59. Refs all across country are deserving of pay raises as high school games have been extended from 53 minutes to 77 minutes as well due to rule change.

Ive seen a couple of these games and kids are scoring 30 with a FG % of maybe 20%.

I witnessed Erik Edwards score over 60 (61 I think) for Wilmington HS. Lot of points 32 minutes. Does anyone know the record for points in a game in DE?

In a league all by himself Jr Desmond Gould hit for 41pts last night (17fgs made)

17 FGs in a 32 minute game, for one player is impressive.

In contrast, St Marks averages 12 FGs per game as a team this season.
