Doesn’t have anything to do with QB pick, but here’s Albero’s and Tattersall’s other stats.
Albero is 30/32 on PATs and 3/3 on FGs. He also has 3 INTs including a pick six.

stats only after looking at them it would be albero. I just feel like tatersall has had the bigger impact overall. Tattersall, Albero, and Matthews top 3 qbs in class 2a.

Interesting pick..POY's typically come from winning programs. The preseason favorite in that district was easily BJ Alleyne but he has had a tough season. Good for Preston..👏

I find Troyer's numbers impressive. 23tds 2124yds 68% comp... being those #'s were against by far the toughest schedule in Delaware. Will be interesting for 3A OPOY but still think it goes to Knight. Besides not sure how the voters will view the situation. In the past they have snubbed out of state xfers coming in. Next year it could go to Troyer though (if he stays)
I think POTY would probably go to Mconomy of Appo for District 1.

I realize stats are all most of what people can see. However, these teams are voted on by Coaches, so I hope to goodness people are not looking at stats. There are teams that are putting up 35pts by half and playing their JV - like they should, vs. playing some kid for stats - IT IS HAPPENNING! The same teams that are beating up on bottom teams, cannot beat a quality team, but so and so had 4 tkls for lose, a pick 6, and threw for 400 yards.
Back to any player being named Player of the year on a losing team. Player must be something special. Usually, I am against it. Teams need to put up W's - thats how things are measured. Since coaches are voting on this, then all good with me. They have seen the players, played againgst them, etc.

I’ve sat in on a few of these meetings in the past. Trust me, good or bad, they’re looking at stats
I agree. Mconomy has literally, single handedly delivered a district title to Appo. But who are we kidding here? They’ll never give it to an underclassmen. Absolutely no chance of anybody winning POY if their last name isn’t Knight. Not knocking. Just being honest.
McConomy won District I POY. Knight is in District 2.
