And just when you thought St Marks-Sallies wasn't a game

Spartans have a scrappy little team . Might make some noise in DII. No shot at beating Sallies.

Nice start-looks like they are on their way to the postseason. Just looked at their sked and was surprised though to see that their 4 wins came vs opponents with a combined 3-11 record. Worse yet, those 4 teams have been outscored 397-185 (109/185 from Archmere).
.....What is up with D2 this year......last year was wacky but this year is even crazier.
One certainty-we will see some new faces come playoff time.

DII is great. Most any team has a shot every week . Not the huge gap between the top teams and the middle of the road teams. In DI it's really Smyrna and Middletown and that's it. DII is wide open. It's the way sports should be.

True but there is a true drop off from the better D1 teams and the better D2 teams this year... The seperation from D1 ad D2 is real.. I have said it before there is not a D2 team that could beat a top 6 D1 team this year

For high enrollment schools like Nerwark, Dover and CR to suck so bad is enbarrasing,, That is lack of community involvement, teachers, parents and coaching... Seaford ,Milford,Red Lion, ST Andrews etc are excusable because of the numbers

If you haven't noticed, Milford is 4-0 so far this year ,,, not sure why you include Milford in this statement. Have you ever been to a game in Milford or seen them play? You seem to think you know more then you really do on a lot of topics - must be that CA arrogance.

Very disrespectful to put Milford in that group considering they put a running clock on those 3 schools named with them last year, put a running clock on red lion already this year, St. Andrews forfeited to them, and will put a running clock on seaford in conference play. Not to mention they're currently ranked #2 in division 2. Not particularly fond of them but Give them a little respect. And division 1 is a 2 team race. Everybody else can be beat by a D2 school cut the crap.

Relax guys/gals just put them in as a small school... I realize they have had a resurgence the last couple years. Were you folks not here when I was talking them up last season?... people need to stop being so damn defensive about everything sheesh

fyi not so long ago the only team on their schedule Milford could beat was Seaford and one year only beat them 14-6.. guess who is on Milford schedule the last couple years.yep the three I lumped them with Redlion,St Andrews and Seaford..and yes I know they have to play Seaford

Putting a running clock on Red Lion and Seaford isn't something to boast about. Very weak non conf schedule for the Bucs. Red Lion and St Andrews...................come on?

Yes, they should be ashamed. What a weak non-conference schedule.

I get they scheduled RL and St A after two 1-9 seasons where the only team they could beat was Seaford. Its understandable.. but you get stuck with the two year contracts.. That happened at CA as well after a 2-8 season they scheduled weak and the team got good..

The year CA went undefeated and won states they had a crap schedule but Reed inherited it off of two year deals.. It almost cost them as well ..The first good team they faced was IR in the semi's and IR took CA to the last second.. CA needed and got a miracle to win that game

I would assume St A and RL will be off of Milfords schedule next year.. acually they are already Milford has 3 out of conference games scheduled for next year vs Poly, Cape and DMA..

Charter might be looking for a game. :)

It appears Salesianum opens at Concord next year. That means the only games that are in books are Concord, St. Marks and Penn. I am sure that Smyrna will play the Slowskys next year......and possibly Caravel....that leave 5 games to be filled...

Of course, there will be a Salesianum - Middletown game.....

....yeh....after the 1st loss that year.....Baynard trash cans were all full up with "the shirt".......was that the "click clack" shirt year?

Stop it. Worse yet was that the Big S Jersey switched before the game. To my knowledge the Big S has never won a one time Jersey Switch game. I have one of those click clack black tee shirts in my basement. Thanks for ruining my day, Jawnsky
