There's always been an issue with locals and UD. However, I think we need to change our style of thinking if that's going to change. UD was/possibly is a nationally known football program. (definitely in 1-AA) However, any big time player from Delaware typically looks to go outside of the state. I'm curious to see what the percentage is of players who go to play out of state in major college that also had in state offers is.

Football aside it seems the last couple years a good amount Caravel kids who went out of state for school has transferred to UD after 1 semester or 1 year.. many of them football players. I am wondering if that is typical of many kids from New castle County...
