How do they give Athlete of the Week to a person on a losing team that week.There wasn't know one else they could of picked.

DMA is a struggling team but they do have some talented senior players, all state lb juwan morrow, linemen andrew Allison, Sean Naughton (athlete of the week) and junior WR Trevor hill. Last year these boys lost playoff hopes in a game against archmere. This year was supposed to be DMA vindication. Naughton didn't play large part of game ( recovering from injury) Morrow got hurt during first quarter and was out rest of game. Archmeres . Udovich was pretty quiet that game. But freshmen OLB Danny Bark is definitely someone to watch in future. After an emotional loss athlete of the week wished Archmeres players good luck through tears. This kid should've been athlete of the week last winter when he wrestled and played ice hockey in the same season. I agree should be a winning team athlete but delaware focuses mostly on athletes of big named schools and very rarely acknowledges individual talent from a small non championship schools. Other than the Newark qb and DMA LB there hasn't been any stories on athletes who are more than just awrsome on the field. Congrats to the kid for athlete of the week. I damn sure couldn't do what he did against a rival
Archmere isn't there rival and there where plot more choices they could of picked.Dont get me wrong I know the kid and he is a class act just don't think he should of got AOW.

Kane from Sussex Tech is a freakin beast and after seeing him twice now should be (but probably wont be) 1st team allstate. Ahead of everyone. Hopefully this kid doesnt get robbed. Without naming the coach or school, there kids on teh bubble that these coaches always seem to get passed through to 1st team, etc. And I am sure the buddy system will happen again.
