I'd like to give a shout out to all of the HS athletic trainers!! They do an amazing job for the student athletes. Typically at the varsity football games, both schools have their trainers present. When an athlete goes down you will see both team trainers sprinting on the field and working together and their only concern is the athlete.
During the rest of the week a trainer is at the school bouncing between soccer practice, a volleyball match, football game, cheerleader's. Usually it just 1 trainer managing all these student athletes including visiting teams.
