Blackson and Smallwood - Eagles-Texans game

Great game. Didn’t see much of Blackson did he play? Saw Smallwood get hammered and not much since. Anyway the Foles legend is growing. Wtf? Wentz is a traded up for #1 pick . Has all the measurables over Foles but he is a FCS player Foles is winning the big games. Wasn’t Brady and Montana over looked because they didn’t have the measurables? Hell Brady’s combine film has him looking like Joe Shmoe from Polk High lol. Winners are winners. If Foles runs it what the do the Eagles do? Roll with Wentz because he projects as the better player or roll with the winner?
Drew Brees is another the “experts “ said didn’t have the physical attributes and San Diego moved him in favor of hot head Phillip Rivers who had the strong arm etc etc. how did that turn out lol. Jeff George and Ryan Leaf we’re the best combine QB’s ever.
think you are on to something. Wentz is way overrated and it will show again next year.
Some things folks may not know about Foles
Went to Westlake a power house Austin Texas HS.. Where he broke Drew Brees's school passing records in yards and TD's and still holds.
Nick was also a standout basketball player there and had offers from Georgetown and Arizona State among others but chose to focus on football
Originally went to Michigan State but was behind Hoyer and Cousins so transferred to Arizona. His first year eligible at Arizona he was beat out by a "stronger armed" QB ( Scott) but Scott struggled after 3 games Foles got the starting job and kept it leading them to a top 20 ranking and ending with Arizona's all time passing records in completions, yards and TD's
Its seems St Nick is always the underdog and has to come in to save the day when superdog doesn't get it done.. just saying lol
