We live in a world where nothing will ever be perfect.....what is a better way of picking all conference and blue gold teams? @Jimmy_Naismith

Coaches don't take these processes serious. How about showing up with prepared with individual statistics with the intention of advocating for your best players.

Just putting names up on a dry erase board and expecting the Coaches to vote for a kid based on his memory of how the kid performed against his team in one game is ridiculous.

I agree! I'm not sure of the exact process but I would think they take stats into consideration...

I did not see Appo’s DJ Earl...I have a hard time believing he was not voted in. #11 the Brooks kid for Appo could have been an option too but I’m pretty sure you can only have 3 players max from the same team. Either way I would think Appo would have gotten 3.

The thing w/ coaches showing up w/ stats for their players is that coaches often bump their players statistics up of course. I know this for a fact & have seen some stats provided that are ridiculously higher than the actual numbers...especially when the only official stat in high school is points & some schools don’t even report those in the box scores.

Yes that is a joke too but that's because AD's and Head Coaches are not held accountable for their actions in this State.

This is definitely the case with baseball too (probably all sports). Some of the batting averages submitted for the players are downright comical. Sorry coach, just because your kid is standing on first base, doesn't mean he got a hit. That can of corn that the outfielder just dropped was an error.
