Bummy’s City Rankings - Week #4

Glad, to be back. Thanks to all of you who have requested my return. I wonder why anybody would read this stuff. It looks like a bad year for the City. My sense is that for the first time in recent memory the City will go 0-5 in a weekend. Let us begin:

1) Howard (2-1) – The only City team to win at UD this past weekend. Congrats to the Cats. This week they host Hodgson at Baynard. I look for Hodgson to bring an ill humor to Baynard and handle the Cats.

2) Salesianum (3-0) – After giving up 56 points to Smyrna it is hard to assess the Slowskys. They play Father Judge in Philly on Saturday night. Judge has a dynamite back (Yedee Thaenratt aka “Liberian Lightning”) that the Slowskys can’t stop. Plus remember a traditional Slowsky problem – if they take a bus ride of over 30 miles & play a good team they struggle…(Paramus Catholic, Brooklyn, DelSea, Sussex Tech). I look for Judge to beat the Sals handily. Maybe the Slowsky defense will hold Judge to 55 points.

3) St. Elizabeth’s (1-2) Lost at UD to Conrad. Play DMA this week at Baynard. Not a good outcome for the Canbyskys.

4) Tower Hill (1-2) Lost to DMA at UD. It looks like they are no longer the pride of the Silk Panty League. Host Tatnall on Saturday. Loss likely.

5) Charter (1-2) Lost @ UD to Middletown. Look for the losing streak to continue as they go up the road to AI on Friday. The Smartskys are in a rebuilding mode.

Bummy heard that there is bad weather on the horizon. Ignore the weather man. Full speed ahead.

City is now 8-7 but this weekend will put them in the red. Predicting a 0-5 week causes me great pain.
