Well, this game falls into the well worth the five bucks category.

Chester cranks up the D in the second half, comes all the way back to shock the hometown fans to win 76-70. They outscored Newark by 21 in the half. Newark had very few good looks at the basket in the half because of Chester's intense pressure. Newark with two costly technical fouls in this game. The second came with Newark down 3, with possession and 7 seconds left in the game by coach McCants. Sheer stupidity coach.

Wish it had a better ending. But that was one of the better HS basketball games I've seen in a long time.

Newark was out of timeouts when a player called a timeout on the floor. It is always charged to the coach. Definitely was a great game, foul trouble hurt Newark when Chaz picked up his 4th in the 3rd quarter. Newark couldn't match their size at that point and the rim got extremely tight on Newark. Countless threes went in and out the whole second half for Newark.

Looked to me like McCants was screaming at ref Moser because he failed to call a foul on Knox, who was trying to intentionally foul to stop the clock. Instead Chester got a bucket to go up 3. I didn't see anybody trying to call timeout.

Newark played well. They look pretty good this year. They should have won that game tonight. They almost did, even with one of their better players getting shut out from the field.
