Dinardo has a pretty good pedigree don't think we're ready to bail on him. The folks from Smyrna have had a couple of good years but they have to do it for the long haul before they're hall of fame material.Sallies should have Marks on speed dial!!

marks has already coached for the Oakland Raiders and at UD. If he has a desire to move he will get offers. Very smart high enery guy that has that it factor. Gets caught up in the emotion of the game at times. Might be better off calling the game from prees box Definately a rising star though
Agreed. Will be back to normal in a year or two...ha. Although with the population boom down there they should be good for awhile, but time will tell.Dinardo has a pretty good pedigree don't think we're ready to bail on him. Dick Vermeil????Here is a model that I use when talking to young guys. The rapid rate to the top was unbelievable:
Del Mar High School (1959) age 23
(assistant coach)
- Hillsdale High School (1960–1962 age 24-26
(Head coach)
- College of San Mateo (1963) 27
(backfield coach)
- Napa Junior College (1964) 28
(head coach)
- Stanford (1965)
(assistant coach)
- Los Angeles Rams (1969)
(special teams)
- UCLA (1970)
(Offensive coordinator)
- Los Angeles Rams (1971–1973)
(assistant coach)
- UCLA Bruins (1974–1975)
(head coach)
BDN is an old line coach but a good one. Thing that has always mystified me is his approach to the passing game as an after thought. This season he has a kid that could be special as far as chucking the ball is concerned. That said he always looks to the run first. I guess he grew up in the Woody Hayes era believing three things happen when you pass and two of them are bad. A little behind the times in that department but light years ahead of others that have coached there before him.Agree on BDN but time to change the DC!

Dick Vermeil????
None; I'm not. Anyway,it worked pretty well with Reeder.
Don't forget to take some extra $$ to buy your own cow bell.Bummy will be sitting on the MDT side toward the South end zone. I will be wearing a Notre Dame hoodie. Please stop by and introduce yourself. I think all of you guys are great. Peace..
BDN just isn't going to throw the ball all over the yard. I think he approached like 12-14 passes a game with Gene DelleDonne. The Troy Reeder Sr. year offense they had a 6,8" WR who was clutch and one of the greatest all around athletes in the history of the Big S and basketball player of the year....Brian O'Neill.
People can criticize BDN all they want but he will retire with like 300-350 wins. I think he had like 4 titles at MDT for D2 and 4..so far... at Salesianum.
As far as Smyrna kicking Sallies butt. Good for them. You are what you do. The Sals better show up against Caravel or they might get embarrassed again.
Ches- no doubt BDN is/will go down as a Coaching legend at least in my opinion. But he does need to make some changes-its time for him to coach to his talent and runnin' the ball w/out a Reeder is not a winning recipe....QB has the arm and let him throw it once in a while-I ain't saying pass/pass/pass.....just throw it some more.
And it would not hurt for him to make some changes on his staff. At the end of the day-Salesianum does not win because they have the best Coaching staff-they win because of sheer player turnout.
