GHS had some athletes.. not top in state but very good... That rec league faux spread was easy to defend...but like I said in pre season the lines are not coached up
Caravel scored on a halfback pass and a screen. Let's not act like this was a 50-0 game. 21-16. Great game caravel, great season ghs!
Congrats to Caravel, and to Glasgow on a fine season! With all the high powered and fancy offensive schemes we see today, defense still wins this time of the year. And Caravel has the best that I have seen in the division.

Bone I'm a Glasgow supporter as well.. But there was a lot of issues for Glasgow in that game. Defense played really well majority of the game. Offensively kids looked unprepared, unsure of plays and where to align... Line play was mediocre... Coaches also seemed unsure of what to do as well. No adjustments. Not sure what was going on with getting the plays in and called but from the stands it looked bad. Caravel won the game but I wouldn't say they beat Glasgow or are a better team. Glasgow played a big part in the loss and that falls on the coaches not the kids. Very good season and they should be proud but there was more to the loss than what your saying if we are being honest.
I thought the Dragons D played well particularly vs the run but 302 is correct the O seemed a mess and was pretty easy to defend for CA. Glasgow same issues on line as previous years. They don't get any blocks on the second level on running plays. CA LB's free to roam untouched.
CA pretty much let GHS score that last drive by playing prevent and letting them screen their way down the field..There was a coverage mistake on the TD pass with 11 secs left but no big deal game was in the bag,, I wasn't happy CA couldn't ground and pound the game away in the 4th though.. Have to fix that moving on

302- you bring up some valid points and the Dragons have some decent talent (not nearly as talented as anyone)
They lost to the better team though. They played 2 real opponents this year and went 1-1. Sound win over the Hawks and solid loss to the Bucs
