I have no problem with a team moving up after a loss, sometimes you can see great things are coming and as I have mentioned in other threads-Smyrna gonna finish w/1 loss so expect to see them move again real soon.

I agree with Smyrna moving up to #4 even in defeat. Concord lost and Sussex Tech hasn't been all that impressive against DI competition so far. I don't believe Smyrna will run the table though unless they fix that defense.

It's amazing how many folks mention the "losing by 20" part and forget the "scoring 56 on one of the best teams in the State part". Nothing wrong with moving up if you treated the Sallies defense the same as you did the Appo and Delcastle defenses. Am I missing something here?

I wanna see Smyrna score 56 on Penn or Middletown not happening. Get off their jock guys Smyrna isnt all that an improved team from last yes but an elite hard nosed team NO. LET it go jeeeez.

I must be listening to WIP or the 97.5. It was a special game! Perhaps I don't know football like the bunch here but suspect both of those S's will score on the reverend MT and Penn

Penn has been irrelevant other than the last two years,, They are not on DE mount Rushmore in the last few years'' Defense" guy is talking crazy.. .. Sallies is the class this year and its not even close.. unless they see Smyrna again.... Sals will dump WP and MT IMo

RR2 I can't agree with you more, Sals right now has to be the favorite, if and only if Reeder stays healthy if he goes so goes any chance. If MT gets healthy, they would be my 2nd choice, MT has been without Allstate NG/OT #78 since season opener, Allstate CB#14 inj played very little since 1st game., AllConference RB#33 out for ?., If those 3 return odds are MT will see a 6th trip to finals!! JMO

Not sure how we can say Sallies is the class and its not even close??? Sallies barely got out of the Smyrna game with a win and gave up 56 points as well. I hope thats not the class of Division 1 this season. A team that allows 56 pts??

Not taking anything away from Smyrna, they are going to give any team some trouble. I am actually really excited about their success and style of play on offense. But you can't give up 76 points to ANYBODY.

As for Penn, i don't see them giving up 56 pts to anybody. Just sayin...

At this point i'm not willing to say whether i think Penn or Sallies is better after watching both. For ranking purposes i would say Penn is #1 because they are champs, started the season #1 in my book and have done nothing to fall from #1. But Sallies is a very close 2 (or 1a if you will). I would probably give the nod to Sallies because of Reeder. But i think its pretty darn close. If Sallies dominates Mtown in a couple of weeks, i will possibly think twice.
