It is a shame that Corey Corbin's father (Next-UP) makes stupid comparisons of his boys to Donte and Mikey. He said they were better then the last 3 player of the years in Delaware. They went Divison 1 colleges. If he left his boys alone and allowed them to be developed by AAU coaches and others maybe they would have went D-1. Villanova-D-1 National Champion verses Cecil - junior college. Were they even First Team All State? The boys got game but an overbearing parent can hurt a kids chances. Reminds me of a poor man's Lavar Ball. Not taking anything away from the kids but parents should not hinder their kids advancement with STUPID comments.
Was with u until u said Mr. Bball, people don't care for his post not because of the reasons u mentioned but rather his lack of care for anything or anyone else except his son. It is clear that not only is he obsessive about champ, his identity is tied to his success.Any black father who believes in their son gets the same treatment in this country. It's presumptive that black men should be quiet. Mr.Bball is our own example of the treatment of such. But the thing is Lavar Ball is hated by people of all colors so it isn't a racist situation at all.

Cool and clearly you have a right to your opinion regarding 44, but you cant speak for all people.
Back to discussion, Corey Corbins Dad and Lavar Ball Dad both are perceived to only care about their sons and I believe its what happens when you publicize your thoughts about your son when your a black man. To speak freely comes with repercussions. But the fact is the three men mentioned weren't afraid to speak or write there belief in there seeds and all there sons have exceeded expectations of the many but not reached the pinnacles their fathers see them on.
It's my conclusion about the matter, Black fathers matter... All 3 young black men doing positive things.
Congrats Corey I've watched you play and think your very good. Now go to school and work hard on and off the floor!!!
