Cory Barnes

There is always discussion on the board going back & forth about whether certain kids should stay in DE or leave to seek better opportunities for themselves & Cory Barnes was one of those kids who left Cape after his freshman year making the move over to the DC area playing at Archbishop Carroll. I just heard from a pretty good source that he has already received his first D1 offer from Texas-Arlington after just one season over that way finishing up his sophomore year. Now I don’t know if this is official or whether the recruitment came mostly through AAU play or what but it is definitely looking like the kid did what was best for him...Congrats.
