Has been making some big plays for Mcdonogh fooball team both on O and D.. Looks like DJax out there with the bombs. McD is 2-0 as well

He was also ranked 5th in the country for the 2021 class in lacrosse.

Honestly think Delmar would be the favorites in D2 if he was still there. He was already one of the best safeties in the state. He would have been the best running back Delmar has had in a long time.

He did an interview with Inside Lacrosse and said his goal now is to receive an offer from Maryland as a DB or athlete and ultimately play both sports at Maryland. Wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up doing just that.

I’m telling you he’s going to play football and lacrosse at Maryland.

When I said ambitious I was referring to football programs at that level are like a full time job year round.. Just saying in today's world its very difficult to play two D1 sports if one of them is football and keep up with studies.. Had nothing to do with the talent to do it. It would be an ambitious undertaking

I will tell everyone that a big 10 conference football or lacrosse team is not going to give any athlete the option to play 2 sports. That stuff went out in the 80's. Both sports if not all at that level are a year round commitment. D2 or D3 it's still an option.

Sounds about right. Remember back in the days when football players were the 10th-12th man on the basketball teams? Even that's been cut out now.

That would kind of thinking would have limited Dave Winfield's and Bo Jackson's contributions to our sporting lure.

My apologies. Took it the other way. Granted two sports athletes in college isn’t the norm but it’s not unheard of. Though the two sports are usually football and baseball, sometimes football and basketball.

How long ago was that? The programs have changed 2000% since then. It's no longer possible. The coaches won't allow it. Go down to D2 if you want to try it.

Kyler Murray played football and baseball at Oklahoma, it’s still possible

Cole Kmet, the big TE for Notre Dame is a decent pitcher for ND

Juwaun Harris Rutgers also plays football and baseball

there’s plenty more examples of dual sport D1 guys out there. Kmet and Harris both have a chance of being drafted.

McD upset Calvert Hall (one of the favorites in MIAA A this year) 28-8.. I don't know the details but McD had 3 picks and a long TD pass.. I am willing to bet DT had a hand in some of that.. No one on Md boards even talking about DT they have no idea about the lil ole transfer from Delaware lol They still scratching their heads as McD sneaking up and taking the league by storm haha

lacrosse coach at MD must be sooooo happy. get #5 in the country for free. If he plays football his scholarship has to count against that sport.
Nice

McDonogh shocks MIAA #1 Mount St Joes 14-7 to go to 8-0 . MIAA fans still scratching heads wondering what the hell... Mc D was figured left for dead when their best player (Antoine Booth,II) transferred to DeMatha.. Enter Trader ( and a few other transfers) now McD is #1 lol.. fyi Trader took the spots that Booth played WR/DB

In addition to all of his outstanding athletic skills, he is an excellent student. He is representing Delmar and the entire State in fine manner. Word has it that Coach Hearn was cold called from a Big10 coach after the Maryland commitment, just to check in about who else might be coming up, pretty cool. Dante has not forgotten where he came from either, he still wears his Cat paw head band under his helmet in all his McDonogh FB photos.
