interesting that AI is firmly in the picture. If CA wins out they will have the points to challenge for the 1 or 2 seed. Looking at whats left it looks like only the 8 spot will be available. Losing 2 with a 9 game schedule with no D1 wins is proving to be a problem for Friends

Assuming Friends wins out

Friends 28 + 5 bonus 33 3.66 index (if lake and WB both go 9-1 then 34 or 3.77)
Delmar assuming losses to Lake and WB 29 + 6 bonus 35 or 3.5 index
(MD going to 9 game schedule costing DM a BP.. Parkside would have won 9 if played 10)
Friends would sneek in on the 9 divider

Unfortunately there is AI

AI assuming loss to Howard 34 + 2 bonus 36 or 3.6 index
Friends will need either Glasgow, Bwine or Mckean to beat AI to get in

Archmere forget it they will have either 39 0r 40 even if they lose to DMA 36 with 3-4 bonus

If Brandywine wins out they will have 34 + 3 bonus 37 and knock out AI

If Friends wins out and Lake and WB win 9 then they get in with a 3.77
(not a given Lake wins 9 they go to Milford week 10)

Unless...

Delmar can find a way to beat Lake or WB then DM gets in
If DM doesnt do that the only team that can knock Friends out is Brandywine if they win out and Howard wins 9 and AI wins 7.. which would give them a 3.7 besting Friends 3.66 at which point Friends will be wishing they scheduled a 10th game lol

Sorry to say, but Delmar will not be in the playoffs. They are really banged up now. They have several of their best two way players still participating but less than 100%. And unlike recent years, they are a little slim in the depth department.

further annaysis... DMA (4-1) is not a lock..they still have Archmere, St Marks and CA ..it is conceivable they can lose 2 or all 3 of those. They really havent beaten anyone yet with CAPE being their best win to date.. If they beat Archmere this week then the odds are in their favor to get in but it will still be tight if they lose to St M and CA.. although if they beat Arch then odds are they will beat St M..

Bottom line if they lose 3 games they don't have the bonus pts to make it in as a 3 loss team. 33 + 2 bonus 35 or 3.5 not enough. There is a shot they could get 3 BP's but 3.6 still very iffy.. 3.66 or 3.7 will be the mark IMO

The more scenerious I look at that week ten Lake v Milford game will be important.. Quite a few teams will be needing Lake to get that 9th win or not get it lol This is all assuming WB beats Lake which is not a given If Lake beats WB then Friends will post the 3.66

BUT I forgot.. ANC beat Friends last year 28-21... If no Nelson could be trouble could be trouble with him.. this is a huge development lol

To get 2 from TH they would have to lose to them.. even if they get 7bp with 3 losses 24 +7= 31 or 3.44 still not enough.. If they lose 3 they are not getting in.. The biggest difference is everyone else has 1 or 2 D1 wins plus bonus.. the others I have listed also have more "possibble" BP's I went with what I thought were the sure ones

Tough break for Friends. It won't be the first time a team has been penalized for a tough schedule while another team is rewarded for a crappy one, but Friends definitely had a chance to get back to the Tub at the beginning of the year. It's not over yet, of course.
