Caravel coach may want to bring in a few AI players to tell them his team how awesome it is playing the worst team in the playoffs

Funny thing about these matchups if they hold is that each lower seed can win.

I do think WB, Delmar and Howard hold home field while Caravel takes care of business.

If those seedlings are correct only Caravel is a likely upset.

Friends will have to open it up a little more than they did the first time because they dont have enough fire power to compete with Woodbridge even without Woodbridge having a passing attack. Nelson’s HS career ends on the same field his Caravel career ended.

Lake has even less of a chance than Friends so they have no shot against Delmar who is just going to stack the run and see if Lake can beat them passing. For the Spartans to have a chance the kid Johnson will have to go for 200+ or they need 3-4 plays through the air to back the Wildcats off.

Tower Hill only shot at beating Caravel is holding the ball and limiting Caravel’s possessions. Even if the put 7-9 in the box to stop Potter Caravel has the ability to spread them out. The more possessions Caravel has the lower Tower Hills chances. If the Hillers have the ball for less than 30 minutes. They lose by 2 scores minimum.

Howard is my favorite to win the whole thing as Archmere will not be much of a battle given there in ability to cover the pass and Howard has 2 6’ wr Archmere can not match so if the crowd the bock they leave bad CBs against Spencer and Williams. If the try to help with safeties Howard has good RBs to slice up the Auks D only self inflicted mistakes can stop the Wildcats against the Auks.

Eye test tell me Howard shouldn't have no problems winning D-2... Woodbridge and Delmar are ok but Howard is better than both of them..

Why is Tower Hill the only non-night game. Last Time I checked they had lights.

That was probably Tower Hill's decision. It's when they wanted to play for whatever reason. There is not much parking at Tower Hill so maybe that has something to do with it but I don't know. I am ok with it though I can go to two games Saturday.. I work until noon will head to Trolley Square for lunch then catch that game.. Then head over to Bob Peoples after dinner... Saturday is planned no honey do's :D

Question for the DEHS football historians. When was the last time Tower Hill has played Caravel if ever ? They have not played in the websiteforsports or Maxpreps era's going back to 2004.

I have never been to a game there but did go there for a Blue-Gold intersquad scrimmage.. Nowhere to park. I know they have that little lot behind the visitors side and people park on 17th street. Can you park on 19th as well? Any tips?

Interesting..So the double negative tells me that Woodbridge and Delmar should give Howard problems.

I wouldn't count on finding a space in either of the small lots off Tower Road. You can park on most of the streets around the school, but unless you get there fairly early, plan on walking a few blocks.

Tower does have one of the best burgers in Delaware sports, so if lunch in Trolley doesn't do the trick, you are in luck.

And if you have to use the facilities during the game, you'll have to leave the stadium and walk over to the school. Men's room is downstairs under the gym. Maybe they'll bring in some portapotties for this one.
