D2 rankings

I would have AI at 2 but other than that looks good. AI was a decent D1 program not sure why folks are down inthem in D2. YeAh i get they stunk last year but that is the way it is in public schools. Up and down year to year. AI has been constantly competetive in D1. One would have to think they would do well in D2

#1 Woodbridge is still #1 til someone knocks them off.

#2 Friends is a solid team with an 8 pt loss to Woodbridge and a 5 TD margin of victory over Lake Forest.

#3 AI would appear to be a suitable pick here with 2 wins over D1 teams and 2 other solid wins including a 3 TD win over Lake.

#4 Caravel, I think, should be the #4. They lost a 9 point decision to Sussex Central who's sitting at 4-0 and a top 4/5 D1 team. They rolled St. Marks 40-7 and also have a 3 TD margin of victory over Lake.

#5 DMA They've throttled 3 opponents and pulled out a last second win on the road vs. Milford in a game where the offense scored just 3 points. Dont kick the ball to Alleyne and your chances improve greatly. Next 3 weeks will test them with HVT, Archmere, and St. Marks.

#6 Delmar - after 2 out of state games to start the season and back to back 5TD thumpings of St.E and IR, they've thrown their hat in the ring again as a legit contender for Henlopen South. Playing a weak out of state team again this week though (Arcadia VA - ranked 47 out of 51 in VA 2A by Maxpreps).

#7 St. Marks - quietly making their way on the radar with 3 TD win over D1 Newark, 5 TD win over IR, and 4 TD win over Archmere.

8/9/10 in no particular order
Milford - D1 win over Sussex Tech, 16-7 loss to a 3-1 D1 Polytech, last second loss to DMA, winnable game vs. D1 Cape looming. Henlopen conference foes Woodbridge, Delmar waiting in wings and don't forget a physical Laurel team that dominated upstate measuring stick St.E. Special teams have been their nemesis.

Glasgow - lost a head scratcher in the opening game to IR considering how bad IR looked versus Delmar. With AI, Caravel and Howard remaining on the schedule. Takes on measuring stick St.E this week.

Howard - D1 win over St. Georges, Looking forward to a big win this week vs. Dickinson to improve to 4-1. St Marks, AI, Glasgow remaining key opponents

Archmere predicted 7-3
Conrad 7-3 (DMA, Tower Hill)
Glasgow 7-3 / 6-4 (Caravel, Howard, AI)
Howard 6/4

Tough Schedule Award: Lake Forest with losses to my #2,3,4 ranked teams and #1,6,& 8 remaining.

1.) Woodbridge - Defending champs and they keep rolling have to keep them up top
2.) Friends - State runner up and they played defending champs tough again sucks they member of SPL but will give them due respect over last 15+ games
3.) Caravel - Defenitely one of the better teams in D2 unfortunately they have somewhat of a real schedule. They will probably drop in the next couple of as they have Archmere and Howard so we'll see who they really are.
4.) St. Marks - Spartans have the size and coaching to cause problems in D2 issue their schedule is brutal. They had a bad showing against Caravel but bounce back over the last could of weeks. It gets tough for them after playing Mount next week when they play Howard, DMA, Woodbridge and Sallies during the second half stretch. Could finish 6-4 and miss playoffs.
5.) DMA - The enigma of the bunch okay defensively, horrible on offense, weak schedule will keep them winning as long as Alleyne continues his player of the year performance. Without him they are definitely 3-1 probably 2-2. Let's see if the next 3 teams (Hodgson, Archmere, St. Marks) are smart don't kick it to him. Cut out his big plays and DMA could be 4-3 come week 8.
6.) Milford - A hard fighting team with some winnable games coming up. They have a chance to move up this list in the next 3 weeks against Laurel, Woodbridge and Cape or they can plummet and pack it in for the season.
7.) Howard - The got a big 6 pts from St. Gs, got blasted by Hodgson, stomped on McKean and squeaked by Bwine. From here it looks like they cruz to a Flight B championship match up with Glasgow week 10 question is will they be 8-1 or 7-2 at that point only team that may be tough is St. Mark's going forward.
8.) Delmar - Delmar will continue their cake walk to 6-1 and then we will really see who they are with Laurel, Milford and Woodbridge to close out the season.
9.) Glasgow - Another year of fool's gold??? After the upset loss to IR their defense has stepped up allowing 3 points over last 3 games. They are athletic and physical enough to win up until Caravel week 9 but do they have enough offense to win against the better teams.
10.) A.I. - I will put them on here only because they are 4-0.They may sneak in by points after a great scheduling job from Blum picking up Poly and Charter but watching them play is very disheartening. We will see what they are made of after next week when they play their first team expected to win more than 4 games.

VOR the CA game vs Howard is Howard High in Ellicott City Md... CA will lose that one but it will be a 3pt loss.. Howard is 5-0

RR thanks for the clarification I had them probably losing either way but that just proves my current rankings with St. Marks and Caravel being 2 of the better teams but because of so many cupcake schedules from other teams they may not make it in playoffs.
