Darius Wade transfering from BC

Kyle Cathers is transferring back from Coastal. One of their big efforts is to apparently bring back in-state guys who have gone on to play elsewhere.

BC’s WRs appeared very indifferent to getting open in recent game. Guess they knew there would be few throws other than 5-8 yarders to TE and RBs. Best of luck to him if UD is fortunate enough to get him.

What about the kids who came up through the system and now get bumped out by a 4th year transfer? Is it fair to them?

Both Walker and Caruso will be 5th year grad students. Henderson will be a red shirt freshman. It is my hope that Henderson is developed as a potential 3 year starter at UD. If Wade were to come in and QB one year it wouldn't bother me that much. Wade could be backed up by Caruso/Henderson. Walker was basically used as a wildcat and a slot guy last year after Caruso took over.

Wade really had bad luck at BC. I thought he was one of the best DE HS QB's I have seen. He was on the best DE HS FB team I have ever seen....the 2012 Cavaliers.

Best guy plays, bottom line, homegrown or transfer. Players know that.

UD is once again an attractive transfer destination for FBS guys and walk ons, particularly with the new coaching staff.

I thought he was one of the best (Lefty) DE HS QB's I have seen.

He was an exceptional QB and obviously a leader. I saw him get raked over the coals by the Sals defense in 2010 his freshmen year...and from that point forward...he never looked back. His JR year the Cavs had that lock down defense and that great O-line.

I have to go back and look at what the record was during his 4 year run at MDT. They were tough...

41-7 with 4 state final appearances and 2 state titles....not too shabby..

Yeah; Wade would be a perfect destination stop for UD. They will have two "capable" freshman in the wings and Walker as Wildcat and WR. Last season, if UD could have passed for 200 yards a game they would have been in the playoffs.

Delaware has a great MBA program. A grad course is the equivalent of 4 credit hours. Darius could register for 3 grad courses and be ready to play. I would like to see it happen.
