Yes they are in the MIAA A with them and won the conference.. St Frances has had a good basketball team for a bit and I believe have only had a football team for 6 or so years.. Heavy recruiting and many SR transfers. Gilman scaled back their football ambitions and Poggi and McGreggor left and took their money to St Frances. trying to build a National program.. You know the drill. Many think they will leave (either by choice or no choice) the MIAA and go independent
I remember those games..St Frances was a terrible MIAA B team.. They jumped from B to A when they brought in a coach in who took use of their at risk program and they became a transfer destination for kids who would be academically ineligible to play at their public school... Their track record of so called "offered players" making it through the clearing house is abysmal I have no idea what they are selling these kids/parents to transfer from schools like Gilman and DC privates to come to a crap hole building in the worst part of Baltimore across from city jail with no field or facilities..putting them up in a group home meant for inner city homeless kids.. Parents are crazy I guess chasing that chest bump scholly I guess.. Hell Gilman even said they would make good on any money Poggi promised when he was ousted and 30+ still bolted for lessor academic schools The priorities are all F'd up.. What the hell good is an offer if you cant qualify or if you do cant do the work to get an employable degree? But hey Daddy can brag at the water cooler my boy got an offer from Hot Shot U

Calvert Hall....havent heard that team in awhile, or at least since they came to Newark in 2005 (?) expecting a cake walk, and got a mudhole stomped in their you know what.
