My only question about the seedings was, how did Sallies get the 8 seed over Tech and St. Marks....all 3 had 43 points and they both beat Sallies head to head...

I haven't seen a DE HS BBall game since like early January Smyrna @ St. G's. I have missed a lot. What should be changed? Is it the formula? Should the basketball committee use the formula for guidance and then seed it themselves.

Back for like the first 10 tournaments it was bracketed not seeded. It was like HN 1 vs BH A 3....and it looked like it was seeded but it wasn't. Then we had like 3 years where everybody got in. While that was going on they had opening round games against teams that were physically close to each other to cut down on travel.

I am looking at the brackets but I don't know the teams....

All the Committee does is check the math. The Tournament Index System and Seeding was enacted to take "out" favoritism. Sallies got the 8th seed because it ended up with at least 44 points due to 7 of their opponents providing 2 bonus points. Tech dropped due to down years from many of its Henlopen opponents. St. Mark's dropped for same reason.

They all had 43 points though, Sallies had 22 from wins and 21 bonus points, tech had 28 from wins and 15 from bonus points....then it goes:
- head to head... tech won
Unless they went by opponents win percentage, that’s the only thing I could think of

Anyone notice they did a double header at a netural site for the girls??? Since it’s on a Saturday they should honeslty stagger the times at big neutral location or have it at the higher seeds gym...
