Not Vonnie's (especially if he plays against ST where he'd have another 200 yards and 3/4 TD's) and probably not Watkins if he doesn't get hurt, but yes he'd be a close 3rd in my opinion.

I'm not sure about Peace but if not he is real close, but I'm for sure his stats are better than Watkins, even though Watkins did miss some time. I would like to see all 3 stats side by side, can somebody confirm? Coaches??

The All-State ballots are due by Nov. 27.. The OPOY and DPOY are selected by the board and a few select media members at the DIFCA/Media All-State Meeting Dec. 2nd

I don't know for sure who the press is. I am sure Brad Myers is one and WDEL will have someone. I think Buzby was there before not sure on that anymore and maybe Da Hammer from 302sports (not sure on that one as well but it makes sense)

Here is a little more info about All-State..

III. All-State Selection Process

a. Dues- must be paid before Conference selection meeting or All-State selections will not be counted.

b. It is imperative that the head coach submits a complete ballot; the ballot is to represent the feelings of the entire staff. (they are write in ballots just FYI)

c. Players will be selected by the highest number of total points by position. In the event of a tie, the 1st tiebreaker will be number of 1st place votes. If it is still a tie, then it goes to second place votes and then 3rd place votes.

d. Auditor: The ballots are to be sent by any of the following means to Joe Hemphil:

f. E-mail: xxxxxxx@xxxxxx

g. Ballots are due on the Thursday after the State Semi-Final Games

h. All-State Selection Meeting @ school to be determined beginning on the first Tuesday after Championship Weekend (Board members and media only)

i. Information will be presented to Delaware Online by 8:00 pm on day of selection.

Very talented and athletic kid. Unfortunately, it is a shame that DISC guys rarely are considered or get POY or All State selections. IMHO-If he is lucky, he will be a 3rd team or honorable mention for all-state.

just as an fyi..There are no names on the All-State ballots.. The Head Coaches write in their 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice for each position. 3 points for 1st, 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd

Schools should be the first ones to share THEIR players accolades before the media. Shame on the athletic department for not sharing the good news to their community and followers first.
