WDEL was the first to report it last year at 8:00 pm. the meeting is at 6pm. I would not expect anything to be posted again until 8pm or later.

DIAA has the deal with 302sports not DIFCA..just saying. I am not even sure if they let 302sports have a vote for the players of the year.. I will find out though

I guess I will start out with the obvious slights.. DMA closed out.. who did they piss off? lol kidding..well sort of,, Green and Hahn both deserving of at least 3rd team.

Green 1573 yds rushing 21 tds (those are Peace and Potter like stats)
Hahn 100 tackles

St Elizabeth DE Luke Shiavoni deserved a spot as well 103 tackles 5 sacks
but to keep it real only 16 of those tackles are listed as solo.. so that's odd scorekeeping..

Archmere LB Kevin DiGregorio 110 tackles (90 solo) 4 sacks

I am sure there are more like Dixon from Friends whom there aren't stats posted for..

Its always going to be tough for SPL and DSAC kids to make the lists. Only 2 made it a kicker from Friends(which was a obvious choice) and a DT from Red Lion on 3rd team. Folks don't value the competition they play I assume

* not saying anyone on the lists are not deserving just recognizing some players who had good years as well*

I was also mildly surprised Watts did not get something and also the Brown kid from TH. Brown was pretty much the cog in their wheel, and as much as I have been a critic of their schedule, Brown was legit.

Watts was All-Conference as a QB and the coaches go off those All-Conference list to fill the spots they don't have a name for.. That probably caused him not getting a spot because there is no way he would get one of the top 3 QB slots... He did what his team needed him to do so that is more important than any subjective popularity contest

I know some of the assistant coaches at St Andrews. They said that Watts is one heckuva an athlete.

Another one I missed who I saw in person v Howard that I was impressed with.. Kid ran hard and fast. Looked like a great back but we all know RB is a crowded field in All-State voting

AI- Ja'quai Bishop 1465 yds rushing (8.6 per tote) 20 rushing td - 3 rec tds- 2 punt return td.. 25 total tds ( 9 games)

* rushed for 243 and 2 td vs Howard
