These are the Division I scenarios by my calculations based on available information.*
1st thru 3rd seeds are set.
#1 seed: William Penn (6.4 index if they beat Delcastle, 5.9 if they lose) - 1st round bye
#2 seed: Middletown (5.4 index) - 1st round bye
#3 seed: Sussex Tech (5.3 index) - TBD
Basically there are 3 games that will affect seeds 4 thru 6. they are 6-3 Newark at 6-3 Concord, 1-8 Christiana at 6-3 Hodgson,
and 6-1 Montclair (NJ) at 2-5 East Orange Campus (NJ). Hodgson only affects Newark's index and will not be used in scenarios where Newark loses to Concord (because Newark would be eliminated).
If Concord and Montclair win:
1) William Penn - bye
2) Middletown - bye
6) Salesianum (4.7 index) at 3) Sussex Tech
5) St. Mark's (4.7 index) at 4) at Concord (4.9 index)
Note - St. Mark's would win the 1st tie breaker with Salesianum - head to head result
If Concord wins and Montclair loses:
1) William Penn - bye
2) Middletown - bye
6) St. Mark's (4.6 index) at 3) Sussex Tech
5) Salesianum (4.7 index) at 4) Concord (4.9 index)
If Newark, Montclair, and Hodgson win:
1) William Penn - bye
2) Middletown - bye
6) Salesianum (4.6 index) at 3) Sussex Tech
5) St. Mark's (4.7 index) at 4) Newark (4.8 index)
If Newark and Montclair win, but Hodgson loses:
1) William Penn - bye
2) Middletown - bye
6) Salesianum (4.6 index) at 3) Sussex Tech
5) Newark (4.7 index) at 4) St. Mark's (4.7 index)
Note- St. Mark's would win the 2nd tie breaker with Newark - opponent wins
If Newark and Hodgson win but Montclair loses:
1) William Penn - bye
2) Middletown - bye
6) Salesianum (4.6 index) at 3) Sussex Tech
5) St. Mark's (4.6 index) at 4) Newark (4.8 index)
Note - St. Mark's would win the 1st tie breaker with Salesianum - head to head result
Cape Henlopen finished with a 4.6 index but would lose the 2nd tie breaker to both Salesianum and St. Mark's - opponent wins
* I'm human I make mistakes, I once got Generals Chicken from The Great Wall actually thinking I would get chicken. So view these scenarios as speculation. The truth is untill the DIAA meets and releases the field no one knows with 100% certainty. The point totals are based on Salesianum playing 3 division II schools and Cape Henlopen playing 4 division II schools. If either is incorrect it could change the 4th thru 6th seeding in every scenario, including who makes the field.
