I am going to be completely honest when i say this, I do not think DMA should make the playoffs and here's why. They shouldn't make the playoffs. I say this because them. Them is now and now is not. I watched their game vs Newark and they have some serious, serious problems across the board. I did some quick tallies and counted 92 slips. Can you believe that? Their team slipped 17 times multiplied by 10 minus 70 divided by 4 and then multiplied by 3 with 17 added on top of that. If you and your math followed me.... that's 92 times! 92 times, the last time I witnessed a team slipping 92 times in one game was the 66 packers who went on to win the first ever super bowl. So if that trend continues, it is NOT looking good for the DMA seahawks because they aren't playing for the super bowl, they are playing for the oh so coveted D2 Delaware state championship.
My next area of concern for DMA is their lack of composure. I have watched every single one of their games since the First State Military Academy game and let me tell you, I consider myself an expert on DMA now. Over the last two weeks I have soaked in more Delaware Military Academy football than anyone else on this website. The team is scared of everyone!!!!! Lets start with the FSMA game, I saw their entire O-line fall onto the ground the first 10 plays because of how big and soft they are and 3 of them faked injuries, then last night against Newark, their lineman were SHAKING walking up to the nasty Newark D-line. Their team is scared. They were winning 51-0 in the second quarter because of a few lucky plays. This DMA team has no composure.
I am going to end this rant on one more negative note about DMA. The DMA football team is not lets just say they aren't, oh how should i say this? well lets just say they are oh how to say this how to say this... they are very good. I just rewatched their film twice and plan on watching them another 3 times at least by nights end and have come to a conclusion that they are a great team. But they do need to work on their kick and punt returns, they average only 25 yards per return which is rather weak.
