One mock draft has the Sixers taking Grayson Allen at #26 and the Celtics taking Donte at #27.

If DD and Grayson Allen were available who would you choose?

Draft is 9 days away on Saturday 6/21.

I will take a national champion MVP anyday first.. If Sixers had to pick they will take Donte first.. No way they pick a Duke player over a Nova player.. Its not going happen...

Surprise! I would take Donte in a heartbeat. Grayson Allen did make a big splash by scoring like 16 points (most in the second half) off the bench when Duke came from behind to beat Wisconsin in the NCAA finals (like 2015?). He was a freshman and then had a nice sophomore year but then got beyond strange.

Another trip down memory lane.

Looks like Nova's Bridges may be gone by #10. Maybe Sixer's take Mich State's Bridges. Would still love to see them get Donte. I don't think he will be around at # 26...

I don't know if I'd make that trade for a top 5 pick. For Kawhi Leonard, absolutely, but this isn't a draft where the best 5 players will all be gone by 10.

Another Mock Draft

20 Timberwolves
Pick acquired from Oklahoma City

Donte DiVincenzo | Villanova | Soph | SG

DiVincenzo was barely on anybody's immediate NBA radar before he made five 3-pointers and scored 31 points in the national title game against Michigan. But thanks to that effort, and a tremendous week at the combine, the 6-5 guard is now considered a likely first-round pick. On the season, DiVincenzo averaged 5.3 3-point attempts per game and made 40.1 percent of them. That's great and something that suggests he can be a bouncy two-way player and weapon on the perimeter. And the fact that he comes from the winning culture Villanova provides can't possibly hurt.

26 -76ers

Grayson Allen | Duke | Sr | SG

J.J. Redick is an unrestricted free agent who might not return to the Sixers. So drafting another off-guard who can shoot would make some sense. Allen is a good athlete with good size who made 273 3-pointers in his final three years of college while shooting 38.2 percent from beyond the arc. The Duke graduate should be equipped to play meaningful minutes as a rookie, even for a playoff team like Philadelphia.

I would give up Fultz, 10 & 26 right now, sign away.
Pop tell Sixers add Simmons or no deal.. what part that people dont understand. . Leornard camp said L.A.. and he will not sign long term anywhere else.. So basically Leornard be 1 year rental..

Interesting scenario. How healthy is Leonard? If he was/is OK to play then would you want a player who sat out most of last year to force a trade? If his injury is still a factor how much money do you invest in an injured player?

I would take a healthy Kawhi Leonard in a heartbeat. Pop is nobody to be trifled with....he make keep Kawhi for the year and let him walk.

One rumor is that Ainge has been shopping Kyrie Irving to move up in the draft. (The Celts have a thing about trading injured players.)

Bamba = the next Bill Russell?

So many posers.

Just a kid from Delaware.

Such crap.

Burn those ugly shirts.
Guys like you who find a way to beat down a 19 year old kid and his dream because you never aspired to do anything but sit at a keyboard and spew hate and negativity. There is more than one way to achieve a dream.
Trevon Duval keeping pushing and believe in yourself.

Pop can be selfish all he wants.. when a man tell you straight to your face.. He leaving to go to LA no matter and you keep begging him to stay.. Spurs acting like whining babies..
Celtics not fools either... Not trading Irvin either...

An organization not used to being told no, they just can't handle it.

ikey and hoops...you are correct but Kawhi Leonard has signed a contract and has an obligation for the next year. I know that is oversimplifying it. Pops is stubborn and he doesn't want to help the Lakers to create another super team in the West. He would rather deal Leonard to another team. Can another team satisfy Leonard with contract security and satisfy Pops with assets. Plus Leonard is going to have to pass some serious scrutiny that he is healthy. Kawhi wants to be in LA. There is another team in LA but what do they have that Pops wants? How about KL to the Sixers for Saric or Simmons, Covington and that unprotected number 1 in 2021.

I know I am dreaming.

Best deal is Ingram, Kuzma, and 1 pick but Spurs

Kawhi is ready to go.. What people is missing is Kawhi dont want play with low market teams like Sixers, Boston, and Spurs... Its all about building his brand... Thats why he willing to turn max deal from Spurs.. By moving to LA his new shoe deal alone would pass that max Spurs deal easily.. its all Spurs fault reality.. Never really help Kawhi build his brand.. Not even shoe deal. .. His family is giving him good advice. .. Its all about money you can make..

….and in Kawhi's defense the Spurs doctors misdiagnosed his injury and then the Spurs' spin was that he was not a good teammate and abandoned the team.. This might not be Pop. Tony Parker had some remarks on this as well as a couple retired Spurs players.

We shall see.....
