Or was tonight just a super game from him?

His impact on the game is immense!

Might be the best defensive player in the state BY A LONG SHOT.

Just another night for him...he only had 4 pts but those 8 blocks was a regular night for him & then there is those shots that he doesn’t block but alters them that don’t even show up in the box scores. That’s what I mean by if you don’t actually see the game you probably can’t really tell how he impacts it.

How is he only 2nd team all conference?
Basketball is much than scoring....

Conference couldn’t justify giving 3 first team spots to Dover players. Spence is a beast down low. Big guys get no loving for playing defense.

Exactly...He should have been 1st Team All Henlopen North easily in my opinion but I’m guessing since Allen & Davis were locks they didn’t wanna put all 3 on. Yet I had one voter tell me that they had him 2nd Team All State on their ballot.

I believe the same thing happened w/ Smyrna’s 7-footer Nwankwo a couple years ago & you would hear people talk about what he couldn’t do offensively BUT defensively he blocked a lot of shots & did all the dirty work w/ no complaints just like Spencer.

Going undefeated is justification enough.
And if stats are being kept, that's even more justification.

He doesn't match up... Only thing Dover can do is play 2-3 zone if not.. It's going be hard for. Him to try and stop Sanford size by himself.. But zone can keep him out of foul trouble..
