listen I understand people have their own ways to make money. But you have kids attending this camp that have zero chance of playing any level of college. Rename it to just a football camp combine training. Not top 100 it’s missleading to the kids attending the camp. It’s not the top 100 kids it’s just the first 100 that sign up. Come on man

Wake up parents, services such as this one are taking your money so your son/daughter can sign their voluntary D3 letter of intent. You could achieve the same by filling out recruiting questionnaires and following up on the mass emails/contacts you’ll receive from said schools. This agency has no more intel or contacts than your current high school coaches.

When did this not become the job of coaches in the building? As far as I’m concerned it still is and several in our state do a great job. The harsh reality is that kids aren’t as good as parents think they are, so like anything else, it’s instantly someone eleses fault.

Just my two cents.

What I always look at when I come across these things is not so much the name of the event but the damage. I saw the invite for this one and it is reasonably priced and doesn't make any promises. If a parent wants to spend $50 or so to send their kid to this, more power to them. From what I've seen, the ones that set you back $150 or more are either at an Ivy League school or are a rip-off...

I don’t know, and obviously you don’t know, what you are talking about. I saw some of the kids posted as “attending” the Combine in June and quite a few have a future playing in college. So your post is misleading to the forum. What combine do you know of that “every” kid participating is going to be playing in college??? You sound stupid. I actually have agreed with most of your previous posts, but this one...........smh

I know exactly what I’m talking about. Smallwondersports made several key points. I said “said some of these kids” have no shot. The point is the name of this camp is misleading. Call it the anything that does not imply these kids are the top 100 ranked in their respected states. College prospects camps are what kids should be attending. If they are juniors with no offers going into there senior year they should be attending as many prospect camps as possible. And not all D 1 prospect camps. Two or three dream schools, and then attend camps at the D2 level. Have your HS coaches reach out to the college coaches at these camps before you attend. Send them film, and even give the position coach a call letting him know you will be attending. Use Twitter it is your friend. Email also. Keep your HS coach in the loop. They will Be your advocate. These money grab camps are a waste of time. Honestly. Plenty of free services, and also you can do it all your self with the time, and your HS coach. Save your $50 for gas to prospect camps were the actual coach you may play for will see you.

Some valid points abt recruiting. But I’ve seen the little list of kids “committed” and they are in-state kids and it’s one day to spend $50 to go get some work especially if you are a DE kid sitting around with nothing else to do but go out and compete a little bit in your home state.......ijs

All for competition just don’t like the way the camp is postioned. That list will grow with more exposure their is talent in that sate.

Participation in one of these combines can also give kids and parents some perspective if they look at how they competed against other kids who have offers (and what those offers are). $50 isn't a ton of money for a day of work, a little competition and a free tee shirt.

I hear what OP is saying though. You're not a "top 100" player in the mid atlantic merely because you signed up.
