Drew Fry named starter for Wesley’s playoff game

That's off the charts! I'm not surprised. He has a great offensive line, good receivers, and his arm strength and accuracy is D1 level. Don't be surprised if they don't go deep into the playoffs.
They could.. a couple other names stepping up folks may remember Marcellus Pack (Dover 1 yr SR) is dangerous and has had a good year rushing considering their O system. He is very dangerous on returns as well.
Mike Credle (Glasgow) who has not done a whole lot this year but Fry seems to like him 7 catches for 110 and 3 tds this week. Him stepping up along with Simpson and Peele they definitely can make that run.

Yeah. I told an old friend of mine who played at Wesley (graduated with honors, is one of their most successful grads specializing in the field of fast food drive through order taker) and told him this kid was the best QB they’ve ever had at least coming out of high school. I’m surprised it took this long to start him but I’m not surprised at the results. Smyrna’s defense in those state championships is tougher than anything he’ll see in D3.

Lots of former Delaware HS players on Wesley. $10 to get in for the playoff game on Saturday at noon. $5 with student ID even if the ID is from 10 years ago. Good hamburgers and excellent big cups of hot chocolate. Not a bad seat in the place. Fast, hard hitting football action that is well worth the price of admission. Park on the street. Easy to get in and out. The playoff game is rematch with Delaware Valley, which Wesley won in 4 OT's. Go once, get hooked.

I did, pretty ugly game...the stat that stood out...283 penalty yards...182 were on Wesley!no..
