i was looking through these minutes and wondered if any of these ECA kids were declared ineligible or was this just diaa huffing and puffing as always:

From sept 8th 2016 meeting:

Mr. Neubauer reported that due to the ongoing concern of the status of Eastern Christian Academy he drove to the site of the school and commented that the school was no longer there and after reading two newspaper articles he believes ECA is closed. Mr. Neubauer commented that he advised the athletic directors to make sure they have an official transcript from students attempting to transfer to their school from ECA. Considerable discussion ensued regarding ECA and if transcripts are official. Dr. Fitzgerald commented that the issue should be brought before the Rules and Regulations Committee. Ms. Makransky reviewed regulation 1009.2.4.4.2.

there was an issue with ECA giving kids transcripts but they were not official as official transcripts come from International Connections Academy not ECA print outs.. ECA was way behind on payments and ICA refused to release transcripts until the bills were paid.. This only effected kids that transferred mid summer this year. As long as the bill got paid on the childs behalf then its no problem but I dont know the end results.. I know CA lost a kid to SFA due to these issues,, I think the kids currently playing in DE are paid up and good but the ones that went to SFA may have issues

also hearing all those kids that went to SFA thinking they were on a free ride their parents are now receiving tuition bills in the mail. Only Poggi cant pay it because he is on staff at Michigan lol Circus continues.. chase that carrot... SFA is going to get booted from the MIAA next year anyway

Man that whole thing starting with RLC and sills is insanity. Could make for a good ESPN special. Not even sure what sfa is but I assume another football factory with computers.

no computers but close... much like Friendship Collegiate in DC before the coach took a assist job at Alabama.. Hey send your kid there and he can go to a subpar academic school located in the worst part of Baltimore across the street from the city jail... but hey he may get a scholly...It amazes me what parents will do to chase that chest thump,, SFA like FCA kids get offers only very few of them can get past the clearing house.. its a joke..

It's really a shame how these guys use kids for their athletic ability much like some colleges. They don't give two shits about the kids or else they would get them academic help. They take advantage of kids whose families know no better. Sills did it. He found a school he could buy and then the kids he could. Looks like RLC is finally getting back to their roots.

Its not all on Sills... a bunch of it is but the parents were supposed to pay tuition and they did not pay... I guess they just assumed someone would pay because their kid is special,,,,,CA dealt with that from a certain ECA parent that transferred there then left when CA wanted payment...You saw the same sense of entitlement from a relative of a former ECA kid in a different thread as he was miffed that the Smyrna coach didnt play the kid both ways.. I even had a convo on here with a certain ECA supporter who was convinced the Smryna coach would bend his rules because this kid is so special... Had a convo with the providers of the other ECA kid that went to Smyrna and they were convinced their t kid would play both ways.. I told both of them it wouldnt happen but they didn't wan't to hear it... I guess thats the common theme from folks who sent their kid to ECA They think they could come back to DE and dominate..well they dont they are just players like all the other players and must follow the same rules...not special come back to earth

Not sayin LB is not a great player he is..but he would have been that whether he went to ECA or not is the point. He was geat when he played for the Wilmington Soldiers as well .. ECA didn't create great players they collected and trained them

Same phenomenon in lacrosse some of the elite clubs get so excited about winning when in reality they should win they are all star teams. Funny thing is they don't develop players and there players are getting less training and long term by HS get passed by other kids. They are all star teams and should be treated as such. That's one thing that did piss kemoff when RLC when they wanted to play in the DE playoffs. all star teams should play nationally but it's not even fair when they try to play local teams.

A damn shame remember the video on ESPN about FCA and they had no field and had to clear needles from their dirt practice area.. The head coach who came back to his roots to help kids in bad situations and that was his passion. Well as soon as Bama came calling he left those kids high and dry just as shortly after the team got sanctioned for illegal recruiting violations by the DC association
