Howard 28 Friends 24.......................Hard to believe that these 2 teams both in DII only have 1 common opponent (Tower Hill). Friends showed that they belong in the big dance last week by ousting Lake Forest but Howard wins this game behind a very strong running attack.



St. Georges 34 Woodbridge 14..............St. Georges run game won't be stopped in this one. Woodbridge has made a nice run and with a very young team they should be in the hunt again next year.


Salesianum 20 Middletown 14.................Middletown is good enough to pull the upset in this one and they have been playing well lately except for penalties/turnovers. The Cavs defense might just be the best in the state and is allowing under 10 points per game. The combination of Datillo and Whitehead in the backfield has really helped to take a lot of pressure off QB Delpercio the last few weeks. For Sallies you pretty much know what is coming. A heavy dose of Colby Reeder. Stopping him is a different story. Reeder and a good Salesianum defense make the difference.



William Penn 47 Smyrna 38................This game is simple for me. The team with the better defense wins. The Colonials have the better defense. Only Concord and Salesianum scored more than 20 points against William Penn and the Colonials led Concord 49-14 after 3 quarters. William Penn has the advantage on the line of scrimmage which should help them to slow down star RB Will Knight from Smyrna. The Smyrna defense struggled last week allowing 32 points to Mount Pleasant. Penn gets a few more stops and ends Smyrna's run.

Woodbridge vs St George I'm feeling it's a close game. No of you expected to see them here. That team has worked hard. Facts they actually beat Freinds but you know how it goes in De. The refs play games with schools under the bridges. This game is gonna be tough. But facts someone is going home

Woodbridge is a very good team. I just think they are a little young and up against a really good St Georges team.

With Woodbridge losing all of their best seniors and juniors to Sussex Tech its surprise they made it this far. It will be a good game but St Gs is just to good for them, but in my opinion winner of this game will win states regardless of who it is.
